Banner and solo/duo medal getting screwed

People every season striving for a higher elo solo/duo medal in order to show off in the end of season that cool banner, border & summoner icon.. but it looks like rito has a special, "smart gem" as an employe who has no idea what he is doing, but suggesting random things like "hey, let's change this profile look.. what should we do in order to hype players? Oh, yes! take away from them the things they strive the whole season for...... screw that awesome banner! screw that solo/duo medal..! make them so tiny that in the end we will have the excuse to completely erase them from there"

Don't lie to me... i know that this is the reason why everyone joins rankeds.. you want those shiny banners, borders and medals to show off your skill, don't ya? :D
