The Ruined King

Passive: After the Ruined King died, the Black Mist emerges from his corpse dealing magic damage to all enemies within it while it slowly spreads in the direction of the slayer (maximum: 1000 units range). Enemies, which die within the Black Mist, turn to undeads (ghosts) hunting the slayer. Those undeads have a movement speed boost which rapidly decays, their health decays also but slowler than the movement speed. After a few seconds the Black Mist dissolves.

Q: The Ruined King makes a small leap and pierces his target with his blade. Applies on hit effects and the debuff "Mad King" to his target.

W: The Ruined King casts a curse which hit enemies in a circle around him. The curse deals magic damage, applies grievous wounds and heals the Ruined King for the amount of health points every target, marked with "Mad King", got denied through the grievous wounds applied through this spell.

E: (only activatable if within the range of a target marked with "Mad King") The Ruined King merges with the Black Mist and dashes either toward or away from a target with the debuff "Mad King". He dashes toward the champion, if he is at least 150 units away from the target but within 500 units to the target. He dashes away, if he is within 150 units to the target. The Ruined King is during the dash untargetable.

Passive: The Ruined King gains movement speed, if he moves toward an enemy champion.

R: The Black Mist appears in an circle (500 units radius) around the Ruined King and reduces the sight radius of all enemies within. Targets marked with "Mad King" are feared for 1 second. The Ruined King drains life from near enemies within the Black Mist. The Black Mist dissolves after a few seconds.

I like how this concept is consistent with The Ruined King's lore. I took a different angle and made him a Righteous King with extreme force. His signature weapon is a 10 yard sword--check out Sverd I Fjell for reference.

I called him Zara, The Cryptic King. He's called The Cryptic King, because he actually redeemed himself of his infamy during his second life. I account his second life in an Epic called Legends of a Fallen King: Zara. I'm currently working on it to make it the most grand story in League of Legends thus far.

Another person who took quite an interesting angle is fugertech with Harrowmont, The Ruined King.

My iteration of The Cryptic King is a Righteous King who lost his head and arm, but still has the power to sunder mountains with the power to travel through the dimensional space of World Runes while protected by The Queen. Fugertech's concept takes upon the whole suicidal act of The Ruined King to physically transform his suffering into a tool for his own survival and affliction to gain soldiers who serve him. I hope you can get some inspiration from these ideas to make your concept complete. [galio-happy]
