@Riot Sparkle Death Recap
So I saw this thread and Riot Sparkle´s comment (quotation below) and want to share my own suggestions for a better death recap.
So here's an honest to goodness question for my own curiosity - ideally, what do you want to actually figure out from death recap? What to buy next (Armor/MR/Lifesteal whatever)? If someone did more damage than the person that killed you? What ability was used on you? Something else?
Like, assuming you know who got the takedown (from the scoreboard), what would you specifically be looking for out of death recap (in an ideal bug free fantasy world)?
- What kind of damage killed me and how much of it?
One of the very first things I want to know is: What do I need to build?
Ideally I will see this informationat the first glance in a pie chart showing how much % of true-, physical-, physical crit-, magic-, magic crit damage enemies dealt to me. Perhaps it could be on the left hand side of the death recap window. Each kind of damage source should have another color of course and the main damage source maybe highlighted.
- Who dealt how much damage to me?
While it might be, in most cases, pretty obvious who dealt the most damage, it is still an important information. It gives you the information which enemy you have to focus/avoid getting hit by.
It could be a pie chart on the right hand side.
- Which abilities dealt how much damage?
Also showed by a pie chart (they are the best kind of charts :P), it could be shown beneath the "Who dealt how much damage to me" chart.
In the center of the death recap could be portraits of the different enemies ,who dealt damage to you, allowing you to select a portrait and see what dealt how much damage (not only abilities but also autoattacks and so on + you can select not only between champions but also towers, monsters, minions,....).
- How much time did it take to kill me?
At the top of the death recap it could show how much time it took to kill me. This timer starts counting the moment you took damage, but restarts his counter if you had a time window of x seconds in which you didn´t got any damage.

Who healed me and for how much?

How much damage did I negate?/ How effective are my armor and magic resistance?
I didn´t explain the last two points because it´s getting a bit late here in europe, but they are also a bit less important than the other points. Which doesn´t mean that they are not important at all or shouldn´t be showed in death recap 2.0. Sorry if my english is bad (it isn´t my native language).
PS: The new death recap would then need a joke for april fools day which replaces the normal sources of damage/heals with flash.
