Lore: Magnos, originally Lesko Tanila, was born with an unrivaled connection with electrons, and was a prodigy in nuclear physics, being the youngest person ever to win the Piltover Scientist Honor's award. Everything was going well for Lesko, but much like other heroes, everything came crashing down. While on a fishing trip with his parents, there boats separated in half, sending Lesko to shore, and his parents into the vast sea. Lesko was going in the direction back to the harbor, but he turned around, paddling with his cold hands, back to the sea. He found land, and resting at the island, a boat. The other half of his, to be exact. As he arrived to shore, he examined the other piece, and found his parents. Dead, with two bullets in their heads, and their bodies completely mutilated. Magnos cried out into the sky, as a bolt of lightning crashed into him, but the very second right before it touched him, his true self awakened. His eyes changed from a simple brown to an electrifying blue and green mixture, and he sent the electricity surging around him outwards, crashing down nearby trees. He was later found on the island, and was brought back to civilization, determined to live a simple life again. He became a nuclear physicist in Piltover, and as he walked home from his lab one day, he heard a scream, and then multiple gun shots. As he rushed over to the scene, he found a grotesque and distorted corpse, and immediately called the police. Caitlyn inquired about him, and asked if he saw anything. Vi went over to inspect the body as Caitlyn followed.

"You think this is Jinx?" Vi asked.

Caitlyn responded, "I know who this is... It's Jhin."

Magnos had a flashback, and remembered his parents, as he fell to the floor. He remembered how they died, and their bodies. He realised that he must kill this Jhin character, and to do so, he could take two routes. He could become an officer and bring him to justice, but as he did his research, he found how Jhin was able to escape justice, and so, he decided he would instead hunt and murder Jhin, and kill him the same way Jhin killed his parents. In the name of art. After 2 long years, he confronted Jhin, finding him alone in the desert of Shurima.

"You've walked straight into my trap, fool." Jhin said as he pointed his gun at Magnos.

Jhin tossed his grenade at Magnos, and ran off, as Magnos eviscerated the canister. Magnos gave chase to Jhin, who was in a getaway car, driving away. As Magnos gave chase, his feet began to electrocute, increasing his speed immensely, and was closing the gap. Jhin noticed this and jumped from the still moving car, with his sniper rifle already laid out. The first shot, aimed for Magnos' leg, hit him in the shoulder. Magnos persevered. The next shot, in the other shoulder, and the third, Magnos managed to dodge, but lose some speed. As he was incredibly close, Jhin fired the last shot at Magnos' head, and as it was inches away from Magnos, his perception slowed down. They say before death, time slows, and just as he was about to collide with the bullet, Magnos had a brilliant idea. In the blink of an eye, he supercharged his neurons with electricity, increasing their speed when travelling to his brain, and so, he quickly evaded the bullet. Jhin was taken aback, as he left his sniper down and tried to evade, while Magnos caught up, and wasting no time, charged an electric blast. As Jhin was prepared for the attack, the lightning disapparated. Magnos fell to the ground, coughing up blood. The lightning he used on his neurons had travelled to his heart. He was dying. Jhin quickly ran off.

"Sayonara!" Jhin yelled as he ran off.

Magnos fell to the floor, as a helicopter luckily noticed him, and carried him to the nearest city, over the Great Barrier, and into Demacia, where he was saved from near death. Magnos quickly took a plane to Piltover, and created a device that he affixed into his heart through surgery. An incredibly strong insulator, which wards off any electrons into his heart, effectively reducing his problem, but not allowing him to use his electricity onto his neurons. Magnos can turn this off with his mind.

Summary Magnos is an AP Assassin/Mage, who uses his speed and mobility to blitz isolated targets. He works best in the top and mid lane, especially against melee fighters.
