Reverse Visual/Texture Updates?

Am I the only one that feels most of the texture/visual updates have been steps backwards lately? Awhile back Swain looked more intimidating and now looks a little more... Meh. I liked what they did with Morgana, but with the Kassadin changes and with the recent PBE ones I am wondering if I misunderstand something. Many of the pictures seem to have reversed "New" vs "Old" (a great example is Urf Warwick who appears to have lost details in his texture rebalance)

This is mostly just a personal opinion, but I am wondering if I am the only one.

I just looked at the WArwick retectures...100% worse across the board. The lost all the tecture and detail to everyone of his skins...I don't understand why they changed them to be SO bland in comparison to how they used to look. Just check them out..

I see most of the Texture re-balances are pretty nice updates. They are just bandaids overall for those older champions, till their full VU's get done. In the Urf Warwick skin, I actually see better detail vs the old one. The hid is smoothed out, you can see patchs that connect it together, there appears to be rope on ww's arms instead of just more urf. So I think they did better in bringing it out.

There are a few things that could be fixed up still, such as the URF face, as it's missing a bit of the deeper texture that it originally had... kind of looks a bit washed out now. And then just a bit of the scale design could be added to the arms and top of the outfit, but other then that it's not really that bad.

Of course with all of these, they usually do take in a bit of the feedback and make adjusts to them visually where they can.
