Idea for Chat Restriction Penalties for Next Season

Pretty sure this is more of a concept, so hopefully this is the right boards.... anyways though....

So, people have said that the penalties for chat restriction causing you to even lose out on ranked rewards is a hefty punishment, especially if you were all the way at honor 5 before this happened. Even Riot is seeming to be leaning to this seems a little extreme

My idea is that for a chat restriction 10 game, instead of dropping to 0 honor and locking. How about drop up to 2 tiers and lock instead? This gives them the warning that bad things will happen if they continue. For 25 game chat restriction, they drop up to 3 tiers. After that it is a full on 0 honor lock no matter the honor level.

Such as from honor 5 you drop to honor 3 with 10 game chat restrict. Honor 5 to honor 2 with 25 game.

... it locks you at 1.. not 0. you're thinking of Suspension/Ban. IF you're chat restricted you deserve it at that point. quite literally only way to get a lower honor tier is by straight harassing another player with out of context stuff showing it's flaming. honor 5? if you get that you deserve honor 1 if you flame and get chat restricted.
