[Champion Concept] Kol'Fran The Creationist

Kol'Fran is a Spell Caster. He relies heavily on his voidling-like creations of his own imagination to output his damage.

Lore - There was a time before the Rune Wars, before corruption and division conquered the lands. A world where humanity thrived and acquired achievements that would forever be in their history. But even in a cautious world like this, a darkness flowed through the very essence of life throughout the world they call Runeterra.

A man felt this presence, and it grew stronger everyday. It tore at him endlessly, tearing through his mind, as if there were chains around him crushing his very existence.

After so many days of seemingly endless torment, he finally gave in. The dark presence was overwhelming his soul and couldn't withstand the pain, so he let this presence seize over his mind. It lead him to an abandoned Nexus deep within_ Shurima Desert_. There was an unusual power sifting through his body as he grew closer and closer to this powerful source. By the time he regained control of his consciousness the darkness engulfed him. The power thrived on his soul and destroyed it, leaving no traces of humanity left within.

The Nexus wasted all it's power and as the power withdrew, the nexus imploded leaving an obelisk behind. Shattered, it levitated from below onto which now lies above the forsaken place in which corruption was born.

He was changed, morphed into a being with unimaginable power. The darkening power was used to create a new dimension in which he called the "Void." Then started creating beings of his own demented mind and unleashed them unto Runeterra creating destruction and havoc upon all that was human.

Walk unto my world and become one with the Void. - Kol'Fran

one slight adjustment i would make to his title, how about Kol'Fran: The Conjurer? since he summons voidling creatures. Also how do you make that thing in between appearance and abilities i couldn't figure it out lol

Do 4 *s in a row. As if you were going to bold something but not type anything in it.

Well since there are many Conjurer's in the game I wanted to make an original title swaying from many league related champions.

...You mean Malzahar, the Prophet of the Void? This is almost exactly the same as Malz's lore, even the whole idea of him in the desert. Have you ever tried building pure ad Malz? His Voidlings are the main source of his damage output.

dont dis on his concept yet, he hasnt even written abilities

I'm not trying to dis, I mean look at Malzahar's lore

Many men have gone mad beneath the glare of the Shurima sun, but it was during the night's chilling embrace that Malzahar relinquished his sanity. Malzahar was born a Seer, blessed with the gift of foresight. His talent, though unrefined, promised to be one of Runeterra's greatest boons, but destiny plotted him another course; his sensitivity to the roiling tides of fate allowed other, unwelcome things to tug at his subconscious mind. In his dreams, where the veil of separation is thinnest, a sinister thing beckoned. For some time, Malzahar was able to resist its prodding, but with each passing night the voice grew louder, or perhaps deeper, until he could withstand the call no more. He ventured into the desert without supplies, drawn by the lure of a specious charm. His destination: a lost civilization to the east, known to ancient texts as Icathia. Few believed such a place ever existed, and those who did were certain that the sands had long since devoured whatever remained. When Malzahar's cracked feet finally failed him, he found himself kneeling at the base of a bizarre crumbling obelisk. Beyond it lain the alien geometry of a ruined city and the giant decaying idols of dark and horrific gods. His eyes, seeing what others cannot, and what none should, were filled with the essence of the Void. His once shifting visions of the future were replaced with the immutable promise of Valoran beset by creatures of the Void. Standing alone, but not alone, amidst the echoing dunes, he noticed the familiar voice escape his own lips in a parched rasp, bearing three words whose weight trembled his knees: League of Legends. Now infused with the power of the void itself, Malzahar set off to the north to seek his fate.

"The land may melt, the sea may swell, the sky may fall... but they will come!" ― Malzahar

But you see I did my research about the time before the league of legends was created and the time before Runeterra became divided and wasted by war. Kol'Fran is a champion who was before the time. The being who became that power. Malzahar is just someone who happened to stumble upon an obelisk. Which mine was controlled and lured to an abandonned Nexus.

^-^ I'm close though!

Why would I be trying to play ad malz? And no not Malzahar my champion was before him. and originated ina similar area which is probably why he has the power similar to my champion but not.

So out of the minion controlling champions, we have Malz who's minions are summoned after casting a 4 of abilities and deal 150% his ad to his targets and last for like 21 seconds. Elise, who's minions are always around her and attack and leap to her attack target and can be resummoned by casting any ability. Yorick who's every ability summons a different minion for 5 second, which chase and attack nearby champions. Annie, who's ult summons a minion that lasts for 45 and deals aoe damage. Zyra and Heimi who summons turrets that deal damage to near by enemies.

Now how would your champion's minions be different from these? Not to mention all of the minions that are clones of champions like Mord's ult, Yorick's ult, Shaco's ult and Wukong and LeBlanc's decoys, also Kalista's vision minions.

Blossom of Time1 votes

Who said they have to be different from those? It's just like any champion who can summon a minion. Not that entirely different. You are just starting up random comments that DON'T support what you are saying.

SSmotzer1 votes

So the lore and the abilities behind your champion are recycled from other champions?

Blossom of Time1 votes

No not entirely! Just look at what I have completed so far!

SSmotzer1 votes

That still doesn't change your champion and Malzahar are both guys who heard voices telling them to go into the desert, then they went into the desert, found old and evil things and when they touched it their mortal soul was consumed and corrupted by the Void and now they bring death and destruction wherever they go by summoning void creatures to do their bidding.

I'm not saying your idea is bad or anything, its great, it's so great in fact that it's already a champion, named Malzahar.

Blossom of Time1 votes

It's different, they are somewhat the same but not exactly the same. I remade the lore to fit malzahars lore. In which the future comes of him.

SSmotzer1 votes

That would be like making a yordle who's main game play gimmick is blow darts and traps, and changing the lore so he is just the retired captain of the yordle scouts.

Sure he uses different darts and traps, but the idea behind him is exactly the same as Teemo.

Why not make him a Void Overmind or an extension of one at least or something? Something we haven't seen before. We already have one human character who commands voidlings to do his fighting, we don't need another.

Blossom of Time1 votes

The "Voidlings" you see fighting from Malzahar spawn on 4 abilities and only ONE comes out. it doesn't even listen to him!

I have made a champion who can and will create and destroy his own voidlings. Also! Control them. Multiple ones.

SSmotzer1 votes

Okay, that is fine, but can you please not make him a human that has been touched by the void? We already have two of those, and a third on the way, we don't need another. Make him a living portal or something, something we haven't seen yet.

Blossom of Time1 votes

I was thinking of making him this dark spirit but with a figure. I don't know yet. Still creating his Portrait.

And... How do you think of my abilities so far?

SSmotzer1 votes

fine, but there are already void minions thathe should summon, the Zz'Rot Portal's voidspawn, mindless minion like creatures.

....Why not make your character Bringer of the Void or Hand of the Void. Creationist sounds really stupid. It makes me think of a guy who would run up to Bill Nye, ask why evolution isn't real and laugh when he tries to explain it to him.

Blossom of Time1 votes

Can't change the title. But I like what the title is. And they are not mindless he has control of who to attack and when to retreat and the power to sacrifice his own minions. The Xer'Sai are part of rek'sais people btw.. Well they are her people since she is the queen.
