@Meddler LeBlanc [Rework Concept]
I know this is just gonna be lost in the sea of posts, but I can only hope that someone will see this and find it an interesting idea, I'd hope for someone in the Gameplay division, or someone like @Meddler but one can only hope! :D
Passive "The Deciever's Looking Glass": LeBlanc
is able to decieve her enemies by reflecting the image of one of her teammates, including health and resource.
(A passive version of Trickster's Glass' active component. Would work similar to Kindred's hunt menu, you click on an ally when it is off cooldown and channel for x seconds out of combat and lasts for perhaps 30 seconds or so) Provides LeBlanc with a ganking tool that doesn't use any part of her combo to surprise the enemy lane. Can also be used to juke, ie: you are low being chased into your jungle by the enemy Zed, you W into the bush at blue, channel for maybe 0.5 seconds and come out as 100% Hp Shyvana to scare away Zed.
-Side note: I'd suggest something interesting like this to give LeBlanc the feeling Riot was trying to really push with her rework, DECEIT, if not this, I'd definitely say her clone passive would be the second choice.
**Q "Shatter Orb": **Active: LeBlanc projects an orb towards the target enemy, dealing magic damage and briefly applying Sigil of Malice to them for x seconds enhancing her next ability. (Think of her Q as a Karma R mixed with Brands Blaze ability aspect, except it's a mark on an enemy that requires a follow up within maybe 3-5 seconds)
Q+ RQ: If Shatter Orb triggers/pops Sigil of Malice, Sigil of Malice also spreads to enemies around the target. (Kind of like Brands Conflagration)
-Sidenote: This gives LeBlanc a variety of combo options so that she doesn't feel so heavily reliant on cheese combos. Combinations will be either damage burst, utility, or wave clear, giving LeBlanc more options so she won't be so feast or famine. Combos will be provided below each ability. The idea behind this marking mechanic is to alleviate some of the pressure of R being the combo button, and her passive being where the window of damage so that she isn't like OG LeBlanc who could just all-in explode you in 1 second, nor the current LeBlanc that has too large of a window of assassination that has made her feel rather like a mage.
W "Distortion": First Cast: LeBlanc dashes to the target location, damaging all nearby enemies upon arrival and leaving a return pad at the cast location for 4 seconds. After a delay, she can recast Distortion at no additional cost. Second Cast: LeBlanc blinks to Distortion's return pad.
Q+ W/RW: When Sigil of Malice is triggered by Distortion, LeBlanc deals x magic damage and consumes all triggered marks. (Much like an inverted version of her current W applying the passive cook and Q popping it)
-Sidenote: Distortion should deal about 60% of the damage it used to do before the rework, not an auto attacks amount of damage like it currently does, but still not her primary tool when dealing damage.
E "Ethereal Chains": LeBlanc flings an illusory chain in the target direction, dealing magic damage to the first enemy it hits and and tethering herself to them for 1.5 seconds. If the target does not break the tether, they are slowed by x% (I'm thinking around 60% scales with level, at least on the mid-high range) for 1.5 seconds and dealt the same magic damage.
**Q+ E/RE: **Triggering Sigil of Malice with Ethereal Chains also applies a decaying x% slow (half the amount of the basic E full tether slow, ie: 30%) If the target does not break the tether, they are rooted for 1.5 seconds and dealt the same magic damage.
-Sidenote: Taking away the Root on unamplified E makes LeBlanc a bit easier to get away from and still allowing more options when countering her, and taking away the power from chain and giving it back to her combos.
R "Mimic": Active: LeBlanc gains access to an alternate set of basic abilities, as well as a new ultimate ability, Shadow of the Rose, all of which are independent from their base ability's cooldown and costs no mana. After 8 seconds, Mimic is deactivated and its cooldown is refunded.
RR "Shadow of the Rose": LeBlanc
creates a clone of herself at a target location lasting for 8 seconds, that deals no damage and targets the nearest enemy. (Keeps the Shadow of the Rose component on her current ult, making her a true deciever allowing herself to place a faux LeBlanc in a lane such as mid that just autos the wave so that real LeBlanc can roam or even use her passive to cloak as lets say the jungler and either gank her own lane, or another lane surprising them)
-Side note: Keeping the toggle form on her R keeps LeBlanc from being a one combo burst machine that she was before, and still provides the multiple options she does now after the rework. I was not a fan of the new toggle R, however with the changes I'm proposing I do see it being a necessity.
-EDIT: I left out any damage values, cooldowns, and mainly just specific numbers because I don't know what would be good or not. I'd leave that to Riot to figure out!
