This champion is basically the brother of Irelia Irelia . He appears as a bald monk with light leather amour. 26 daggers float behind him in two ark shapes, 13 daggers each. And here are his abilities.

Passive: Zelos has only 26 daggers (which he uses as "mana" for spells", giving him weakened new abilities once he runs out. Using an ability uses x# of daggers. If he walks near a dagger, recalls or activates Retrieve, he will gain a # of daggers. (Recall withdraws all daggers).

Q: Ionian Revenge: Zelos winds up two daggers, dealing more damage the longer he winds up, that pass through enemies (max 5) and deal damage. Spirit Flame: Zelos' two daggers leave a damaging trail of Spirit Flame that slow enemies who walk across. (Once Zelos has no daggers)Q: Zelos is trained in martial arts, kicking enemies with such force he knocks them up.

W: Spirit Flame: Passive: Every four attacks, Zelos next basic attack is enchanted with Spirit Flame. His spells will have new effects and his next basic attack will inflict Spirit Flame and Greivous Wounds. Spirit Flame deals damage over time.

Active: Spirit Connection: Zelos makes contact with his ancestors of Ionia, who shield him temporarily. Enemies who are inflicted with Spirit Flame deal less damage to him while he has his shield up.

E: Dagger Storm: Zelos sends a storm of daggers, dealing damage and stunning the first enemy hit. This spell uses half of his available daggers and deals more damage per dagger. Spirit Flame: Each dagger sent is enchanted with Spirit Flame, inflicting spirit flame.

R: Zelos embraces the blades, becoming a storm of swirling blades. He has increased movement speed, deals damage to nearby units, and can lunge up to three times, dealing massive damage, before returning to his human form. (He will stay in this form for 8/10/12 seconds whether he lunges forward or not.) Spirit Flame: Zelos instead becomes a spirit of the sacred Spirit Flame (a swirling form of blue fire), inflicting Spirit Flame to the first enemy hit with each lunge.

I’m still working on cooldowns and damage, and if you have any suggestions (I would especially appreciate damage #s because I am not experienced enough with how much damage most champions do on average) please send me them.

Lore: When Zelos reluctantly left Irelia to defend Ionia alone, he had an encounter with Karma. Karma His guard count was descending as the wild tribes along road that lead to Demacia. Very few Ionian villages were this far from his homeland. Then they found Karma’s village, the last they would see for there journey to Demacia. Karma watched the Ionian Sergeant and his soldiers walk into the village. Villagers immediately offered food and water to their superior but the Sergeant refused to take what they had. He warned them of the tribes coming. He told them to prepare the village for a fight but they swore peace. Only Karma defended the village she calmed home, just as she had with the Noxian forces. Her Spirit Flame burned the wild tribesmen from the inside. The Sergeant fought fast with daggers, stabbing a tribe horse here then slashing another tribesman, all the while tossing a dagger with his other hand into a tribesmen’s side as he raised his jagged weapon above a soldiers head. He took wounds for his soldiers over and over as the tribesmen’s numbers whittled to zero. Karma asked for the Sergeant’s blades after the battle. Soldier like these were not common and should not die so early. He was selfless, and just as she had saved her village with the cost of one life, with Zelos life she shall save the lives of these soldiers. She enchanted them to flow with his mind. The tribesman wouldn’t be a problem for the rest of the road. Unknowingly, Karma gave Zelos enlightenmentsummoner 13 , when Zelos was given power, he did not abuse it.

I've been made to understand that an idea for Zelos as a champion has been floating around in design purgatory for quite some time. I could be totally wrong, but I'm just glad I'm not the only one who wants to see him.

Personally, I feel like his lore is a bit nonsensical, given that he has a defined place in the world, although that might have been retconned. As for his kit, it's really seems to be just bits from other champions (Karma, Kat, Xerath, Jarvan and Ahri come to mind). "Dagger" is probably not a good weapon choice if you're looking to define him, there are several proficient and well-defined dagger-wielding assassins in League already. Avoiding overlap is almost impossible at this point, though, so that's kind of moot. I would try and figure out how to define him, how to make him different from other champions, and build his kit around whatever unique concept you create. Best of luck!
