I found this really neat concept art for a Cheerleader Lux skin that was pretty recently done, and they even mocked up a model for the concept along with possible animations. I'd really like to see a skin like this happen, so I figured I'd share it!

This has been one of my favorite concepts for her for years. I hope they do it sometime, she needs a new skin.
For those saying this doesn't capture the "essence of Lux". I 100% disagree. Lux has a bubbly, cheery personality. She isn't from the void, and she really isn't a militia fanatic. She's excited about learning and being a "peppy, happy girl" who also happens to be a mage. This skin fits lux better than ANY other skin concept I've seen. Void Lux is cool and everything, but Lux needs more skins that fit her personality first. She already has enough that don't (cough)

They could also make something similar, but like with a baton. A baton would fit better than pompoms I think as far as weapons go, (and possibly models as well, not sure)
Finally a feminine skin for Lux! All her other skins look like things a man would wear.
I like this concept but as other people said I personally don't consider it as "the skin" for Lux. It's 750rp tier at best, which could have been released for the 2014 World Cup or for the Super Bowl (even though it's an event only in America the rest of the world would just think it's a new skin unrelated to anything.). Now however I'd be extra mad at riot if they release this skin after a 2 years wait. That'd be really lazy to just take a community idea and slap a price on it. Basically saying "here's a skin now stop complaining". I expect a lot from her next skin, I shouldn't since I've only been disappointed at Riot for years now. Also it seems like she has been ignored for a while, she didn't even get a texture rebalance yet the reds are always screaming how she needs love yet nothing's happening.
Pre-thought: Downvotes incoming, because it's a preference that counters the thread... but here goes nothing.
I really hope this skin doesn't come to light (no pun intended) as her next skin; although I do think it's a "cute idea," that's all it is to me. There are so many better concepts than this one that fit her better. For the record, I'm STILL mad that she had 3 military-esque themed skins released basically one after another.
I totally agree that Lux needs a new skin, especially since the last we heard of one for her they said they wanted to release one that was considered "the skin." I want something that goes beyond cute ideas, counter-thematic (Void Lux... bleh), and ESPECIALLY military themed.
I have faith in Riot's Skin Department. They come up with a lot of really awesome idea's that the community's creativity either lacks, or just doesn't hit the nail on the head.
I don't care what Lux gets....I JUST WANT A SKIN! Or a texture update. SKIN PLEASE!

She isn't the cheerleader type in my opinion. She is extremely smart and more of a physics student or science type. Cheerleader just really isn't "the skin" for her IMO.

Imo, I don't think the cheerleader skin fits lux that well. It has nothing to do with light at all, although I agree the last few skins have been meh and she needs a new one.
This is so cute! It's perfect for her personality since she's so bright and bubbly and energetic! I hope a skin similar to this will be made some time! :)

I would buy this skin twice.
I like the effects and the long hair but by god.. i hate the concept and everything else. Sorry guys, no hate, just.... No. It's not high school, kids, and she isn't a toy to finally "fap at."
It just doesn't fit her, and it's just my opinion.. -shrugs- would rather have a scientific themed skin for her. i do agree she needs a new one.

I can honestly say this is really well drawn and excellently done. I would never buy it as the concept is highly unappealing to me much like popstar ahri. But there is a large fanbase for those types of skins so kudos to you. I'm more of an Obsidian Malphite/Earthrune Skarner kinda guy. the cheerleader I wouldn't be suprised to see this one day.

doubt that lux is gonna get another skin any time soon considering every one loved the last one. and i also doubt its gonna be mega girlyagain.
