Riot's Quest for the Manaless ADC: Ace, the Precise

It's no mystery that the bot lane has yet to see a manaless adc, simply because many ideas that would make the champ fun would also make it just as overpowered because without mana, an adc has an advantage over most. However, it is on the Riot goal list because of a promise made to a player for having 10,000 player/friend referrals, and we will see it some point in the future. To help this dream come true, I've developed a concept of a manaless adc that hopefully can be incorporated (lest inspire ideas) in this journey to create the first adc to not have to rely on mana to be successful.

Introducing: Ace, the Precise

Ace is a soulless and malicious automaton that uses Heat as its power source, and has only one mission: kill. Ace is not male or female, and its voice lines are a compilation of other champions spliced together to make its own taunts, statements, and appearance of emotion (much like Bumblebee). Ace is not the strongest adc (especially early game), but its consistent and potent damage output makes it just as much as a threat as any other champion.

Passive: Thermal Regulator Abilities generate 60% Heat. Basic attacks consume 5% Heat , up to 8% when over 60% maximum Heat. When at or above 80% Heat, Ace gains increased attack speed and movement speed. Using abilities that over-generate Heat result in an increased cooldown, up tp 20% based on overflow. Ace cannot use abilities while at maximum Heat.

Q: Plasmic Ricochet Fires a plasma bolt at the targeted enemy, dealing physical damage and spreading to three nearby enemies. This ability deals additional physical damage if the original target is the only one hit. The ricochets prioritize enemy Champions when possible. Each ricochet deals 40% less damage.

W: Vent Consumes all stored Heat over 3.5 seconds and grants cooldown reduction on all other abilities based on the amount of Heat consumed, capped at 20%. During this ability, Heat is expelled outwardly, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies. If the movement speed bonus provided by Thermal Regulator is active, this ability maintains the bonus for the first 1.25 seconds of the duration. Consuming maximum Heat restores 10-15% of Ace's missing health. Note: Using basic attacks while Vent is active reduces the effectiveness of the cooldown reduction and ultimately removes the healing factor.

E: Reposition Dashes and rolls in a target direction and evading any incoming basic attacks. Grants increased range for the next Plasmic Ricochet or basic attack for a short duration. Cannot pass through terrain.

R: Plasma Rifle Channels for 1.5 seconds and has 6 seconds to fire (R+R Click) a very powerful global plasma beam in a target direction, stopping at the first enemy champion and dealing massive physical damage. The beam has a very thin hit-box and there is no delay between firing and hitting a target. If an enemy champion is in the line of fire at the time of firing, they are hit.

So...

Slightly different Rumble Passive

Jhin Q except cutting out the middle man (literally)

This one's actually pretty good

Better Vayne Q

Lux ult on steroids

I mean, it's not the worst thing I've seen, and I can definitely see a champion like this in League, but I see Riot nerfing him into the dirt within a week or two.

I like this but the ability to move the mouse directly over a nearby champion eliminates misses with the ult. This also would not be like Lux's ult but more like an instant single use jin ult on steroids with global range. I LOVE what you did with W my only issue is the R. Perhaps with more tweaking it could be seen without the perception of being overpowered. Overall i am intrigued by the concept idea of this champ and how it uses a resource still. Thank goodness it's not another kat (no resource and only cooldown).

EDIT: i realize now what your ult is most like. The ult of Caitlyn.
