So what is this First Strike thing exactly?
Does it only show if you are using the Project skins, or if we have the skin does it work even if you are playing someone like Cho'Gath?

Its for the project skins only, the boarder are a reward for buying the skins the first week of their release at full price instead of the discounted price. Once first strike is over, the boarders will be gone and then the skins will be re-released at the discounted price!
They are no for any other champion you play! (even if it would be a neat idea to have)
i would assume it only works when you use them on the project skin. wouldnt make sense to have it general!
