Name: Leon Title: The Army of One "Only a fool enters battle alone."

Rundown: Leon is a Melee Bruiser who excels at beating down single targets. His ult is an amazing initiator, but requires skill and timing to hit due to the delay. Using his q, he can send out projections, and his W and E play off of it, buffing Leon in some way while debuffing his Q.

Abilities:

Passive: Charging - Each hit Leon lands on a single target grants him a Charge stack. Each stack grants him 10/15/20% attack speed, and he can gain up to 5 stacks. The stacks last for as long as he is attacking said target. If he attacks something else, or stays out of combat for 5 seconds, the stacks dispel. Does not proc on turrets.

Q: Hard-Light Legion - Range: 400/450/500/550/550 Cooldown: 10/8/7/6/4 Seconds Damage: 30/50/70/100/120 (+60% of AD) per copy Type: Skillshot Leon sends out 1/2/3/4/5 Hard-Light copies of himself, either in one or several directions based on the proximity of the mouse to him (Think Heimerdinger's W). They each launch either 1 punch or one kick at the first enemy hit, slowing them by 10/20/30/30/30% for 2 seconds. Whenever Leon uses his W, the number of copies sent out is reduced by 1 (Down to a minimum of 1) until the effect is over. While his E is active, the number is reduced by two until the ability is toggled off.

W: Taking One For The Team - Range: Self Cooldown: 12/10/8/6/6 Seconds Type: Activated Leon takes a hardlight copy into himself for 0.3/0.5/0.7/0.9/1 seconds. If he is hit by a basic attack or single target spell during this time, he takes 20/25/30/35/40% reduced damage from the Champion who hit him for the next 1/2/3/4/5 seconds, and 10/15/20/25/30% of all damage dealt to him by said champion is dealt back to the champion as magic damage. This effect only applies to the first champion who hit him while he had taken in a copy.

E: Strength in Numbers - Range: Self Cooldown: 1/1/1/1/1 Seconds Type: Toggled Leon takes in the strength of two copies, gaining 10/20/30/30/30% attack speed and 5/10/15/20/25% attack damage until the ability is toggled off.

R: Last Resort - Range: 600/1000/1400 Cooldown - 180/120/60 seconds Leon stops and sends 5 Hard-Light projections to target location. After 1.5 seconds of channeling, the projections will slam into the ground there, dealing 150/300/450 damage (+60% of AD) to any champions inside and stunning them for 1/1.5/2 seconds. During the usage of this ability, and for 5/3/2 seconds afterwards, he cannot use his Q.

Lore: Not much is known about Leon, which is surprising in itself. He was born in Zaun, a prodigy... Then again, prodigies were a dime a dozen in those days. So was crime. Still, he had a good life. His father and mother were well off, famed inventors. But this was Zaun. Thus, it was only a matter of time before his innocence was wiped away. The day it happened was not, as one might expect, a downcast one. In fact, the sky was brighter that day than on most.

Then, without warning, it happened. The Madman of Zaun, murderer and killer in all but name, took his family from him. He only survived due to his father's sacrifice. So it was that a young boy transformed into a hardened man. So it was that he began on his path to revenge.

He stumbled upon a project abandoned by his family as hopeless. However, he had no hope in him. He began immediately. It was only a matter of time before the genius unlocked the secrets of artificial life, and from there his true masterpiece was formed... Fully sentient artificial intelligence, capable of interacting with the physical realm. After years of development, he searched for the Madman, to finally exact his revenge... but Mundo had long since moved on, and joined the League of Legends.

For a time, Leon wandered, becoming known as the Army of One after a few too many run-ins with greedy highwaymen and bandits. He trained, and eventually made his way to the Shojin Monastery, having heard tales of how Lee Sin became strong. He emerged a new man. He emerged a better man. And when Demacia found itself searching for a warrior, he joined the League.

Quotes: Movement: "Only a fool enters battle alone." "How many of me do you want there?" "The other summoners have lone warriors. You have an army." "They say two heads are better than one. How about six?"

Taunts: "And you call yourselves Legends? I'd have more of a challenge fighting myself!" "Size doesn't matter if you have enough men." "Looks like we're up against a big threat... Ah, well. A bigger target just means an easy target to hit. I wonder how hard this one'll fall..." "You know, I've been thinking of wearing orange..."

Mundo-specific: "You... It's been a while. I'd heard you bulked up, but this is ridiculous! Still, I wonder how many of me you can go through before I take you down..."

So, what do you all think? Constructive criticism would be appreciated, as this is my first attempt at making a champion.

Okay, firstly he looks like a good champ. the lore is pretty good if a little bit cliche, the stats are solid though it would be nice to have the general information bar of attack power, defense power, ability power, difficulty.

Now to the criticism. Passive - Okay firstly you passive is pretty good for early game, late game it will fall off completely. So it would be best for you to exchange it for a flat percentage increasing up to a stack cap. Now while I know this would turn out similar to Jax's passive, you can have a higher percentage increase than Jax because you lose the stacks from attacking a different target. This would be more balanced than you have right now.

Q - The range is fine. The cooldown could go up a little as it could be spammed a bit too frequently. The main issue however by far is the damage. Because of how you described it, if an enemy was on his own and you landed all of the copies on them, it would do way too much damage. To start if all 5 hit, you're looking at 700 base damage. That's too much as is, on top of that it has 100% AD scaling. Best way to fix this is limit the amount of copies that can damage an enemy. It will severely reduce his damage yes, but it would still be feasible. The other alternative is reduce the damage per copy to maybe half of what it is and reduce the scaling to bonus ad and lower the the percentage to maybe 50-70%

W - The reduced damage should be reduced on this. 50% is a lot and while it makes him more viable to play damaging, it'd make him unkillable as a bruiser. 35% should be the upper limit. The damage reflect back is a tricky area here. I'd suggest changing this in one of two ways:

  1. Change the true damage to magic or physical damage. That amount of true damage, especially from high burst champions would kill them in a few seconds. Changing the damage type to my suggested two would mitigate that from happening.

  2. Severely, and I mean severely, reduce the percentage of damage reflected back if you want to keep it as true damage. 5% is enough as true damage ignores both armour and magic resist and is only really mitigated by health, again something burst champions will not build in most cases.

E - The attack speed bonus is fine. The attack damage bonus however is not. I'd remove the flat AD bonus you're giving him and replace it with a percentage and remove the AP scaling as well. That would be a lot of AD you would be getting on him of you leave that skill the way it is.

R - I'd say this is fine...but the damage bothers me a little. I think here lower the base damage of the skill and increase the AD bonus percentage. This would reduce the skills damage but there are no ults that deal that sorta damage and have that much cc as well. The stun duration should be reduced to 2 seconds at the max. 3 seconds would guarantee kills.

ADD JOKES! XD

But that's that as far as I can see. Not bad for a first effort dude. Interesting concept but I'm swinging the nerf hammer here. He's a bit on the OP side. No character could even fight him without dying.

Beyond what Ko VIP3R said...

We already have a champion named Leona. You should never give your own champion concept a name so similar to an official one.
