Yet another thread complaining about Riven.

I'll be perfectly honest. I don't think that Riven is a particularly fair champion. WAIT! DON'T LEAVE!

Let me give my reasoning before you start typing. Don't get me wrong. Her base kit, including the E canceling into other abilities, is perfectly fine (though I think her E's AD scaling gets really annoying sometimes). I think it's interesting, and I generally have fun fighting intermediate Riven players who use her base kit. I have an issue with the extras. The doublecasts, ignoring CC with her E (though apparently that's getting fixed, thank god), and all the other extraneous stuff. Those, I have a problem with.

Counterplay isn't nearly as fun or reliable when you have practically no time to react before she's used her full combo and gotten out. Never mind the fact that she can make her trades even safer than they already are with Courage of the Colossus. I don't really think her numbers need much changing or anything. I just think that in this case, Riot should go the way of Overwatch and get rid of ridiculous animation cancels that made a character unenjoyable to play against. I can honestly say that I don't mind losing to Riven in lane when they don't use all those doublecasts, etc., because it feels like a genuine outplay and enjoyable trading rather than getting instantly wiped before any playing can be done.

I'm sure I'm going to get a million downvotes and people yelling for me to "get good", but I'm just sharing my opinion.
