Lore:

Khaeon.

"A name that had once echoed across the cities in Runeterra. A name that had once struck terror into the hearts of evil and pierced the shadows. A name now forgotten…"

A thick fog coated the island. Through this fog a light suddenly shot, followed by the petrified voices of a group of explorers. The explorers had been caught in a storm and washed ashore on one of the many Shadow Isles. However, this isle was different. Although the mysterious black fog still enveloped the island, as it did the others, there was no trace of the undead monsters and specters that normally roamed the islands. Instead, the ground was covered in fissures of amber light and shining gemstones, their light shimmering through the mist. As the explorers followed the fissures, they found that the cracks all seemed to converge at a pit on the center of the island. The light shining from the pit shone through the dark mist, and its radiant energies forced back the cursed aura that surrounded the Shadow Isles. The warmth of the pit seemed to almost comfort them in their plight, as they looked into it.

A few months later, the island was covered in equipment and researchers from Piltover. After repairing their ship, the explorers had rushed to Piltover. Word of the discovery quickly spread, and, after only a few weeks, hundreds of scientists were practically begging to be given permission to explore the “Glistening Island“ as it had been called. The citizens of Piltover, however, were not the only beings to take notice of the discovery. Attracted by the sudden increase in activity, undead had begun to gather on an island to the north. As, the scientists continued their work, oblivious to the danger, the undead began to, one by one, swim towards the Glistening Island.

After many mysterious disappearances, a battalion marched into the dense forest on the island to investigate reports of haggard figures charging guards. After a few days, another battalion was sent to find the first one. This battalion also never returned. Determined to find the source of the disappearances, Piltover’s government sent an expedition of the most elite soldiers deep into the island. The results they brought back were startling. The forest, they had discovered, was crawling with undead. Driven by the dark mist itself, they were slowing inching towards the research site, infecting anything in their path. The Piltoverians did all they could to stop the advance, but it was no use. For every five that they killed, fifteen would take their place. The dark mist also became darker, beginning to choke the life out of those who ventured too far away from the camp. Realizing the dilemma that they were in, the scientists began to leave the island. However, those who tried to leave were met on the seas by spectral armies. The few scientists who stayed on the island had to continue to fight off the increasing attacks from undead.

Finally, as the undead began to break through, the scientists detonated an arcane bomb, trying to cover their escape. But it wasn’t enough. They soon found themselves surrounded by a thick, dark mist and hordes of undead. However, as the undead charged bolts of light slammed into the ground, incinerating the surrounding undead. The remaining undead then turned around to see a large figure of pure light energy, its light clearing the mist around them. “I am Khaeon!” she yelled as she drew in the energy from the crystals around her, transforming into a crystalline warrior. The undead responded, charging Khaeon. However, they were no match for her, as she punched forward, sending a massive shockwave at them. The shockwave, followed by another barrage of energy bolts, destroyed the remaining undead. She then disappeared in a flash of bright light.

"...Her mission in simple. Guard Runeterra at all costs; destroy the shadows that threaten the land, and disperse the void that seeks to devour the world."

Gameplay:

  • Forms:

  • Glass: Is squishier, but deals more damage. Spells are focused mostly on damage. Ranged

  • Light: Is a little squishier, but has more utility. Spells are focused mostly on utility with some damage. Ranged

  • Emerald: Is somewhat tanky. Spells are focused mostly on disruption, auras, and damage. Melee

  • Diamond: Is tanky. Spells are focused on using her tankiness.

  • Early Game:

  • Khaeon is extremely flexible in lane, being able to aggressively push lane and trade by maxing her Q and staying in Glass form. She can also farm and sustain by maxing W and staying in Diamond form. She can even support with the utility she gives in her Light version and her tankyness in her Diamond version.

  • Mid Game:

  • At mid game, when Khaeon begins to get items, her passive’s multipliers begin to have a greater effect. This means she can become tanky enough to initiate with less items than other tanks/disrupters. Her passive also makes her do more damage than other champions early on with little tradeoffs. Her passive combined with her kit make her deadly in mid game skirmishes.

  • Late Game:

  • Khaeon’s kit makes her a deadly in late game teamfights. However, since she is squishier in her damage form, she is best as a tanky, AP disrupter. She also can act as a peeler, using her CC to defend her carries.

  • Combos:

  • (any form) Q-Q-W-W: This is Khaeon’s standard trading combo. It allows her to deal a lot of damage and take very little back. The second W doesn’t have to be used, unless the enemy can return a large amount of damage. If used while in light form, it is also very safe.

  • (any form) W-E-E(recast): Usually forces enemy escapes and can be used to follow initiate up on CC.

  • (light form) E-Q: IN SEC.

Challenges:

  • Elements:

  • Diamond (Diamond form): One of Khaeon’s forms. Gains resists and damage reduction from her passive. Casting spells changes her forms (that’s a benefit, right?). Lastly Khaeon has reduced movement speed while in diamond form.

  • Gems (Emerald form): Khaeon’s passive increases her armor, MR, and health regen while in Emerald form.

  • Glass (Glass form): Khaeon’s Passive lowers her armor, MR, and HP; blocks physical damage; and returns magic damage. Her Q shreds MR, and her passive increases her Movespeed.

  • Light (Light form): Khaeon's passive reveals enemies and blinds them and her Q gives vision.

  • Weapons:

  • Balls of Energy/Ranged Miscellaneous (Light - balls of energy and Glass - ranged miscellaneous forms), Teeth/Fists/Melee Miscellaneous (Diamond and Emerald forms - fists)

  • Lore:

  • Last Sentence of Lore.

Just looking at it so far, I really love were you are taking this concept. The passive is really unique and seems like it would require a good amount of skill to manipulate correctly, but when you do it could be amazing. I also really like how (at least for the Q so far) your passive effects how every single spell works. There is a lot of possibility with this, and I can't wait to see the rest.

Really nice idea and it seems like a really well thought out plan. All though for clarity sake I would recommend saying that Khaeon transforms into the form after she uses the ability. Other than that it seems like a really cool Idea and I cant wait to see it updated!

Info: 5/5- Your stats title and champ name are all there, and your stats seem to be fitting for a tanky fighter. Lore: 15/15- I really like your style and I think that you did a good job! Your lore had a nice flow to it! Abilities: 21/25- I really like your abilities, but I have to say that having 24 abilities (including passives) on one champ might be overdoing it a tad. Also having so much utility on one character leads to a very negative game. I'm still very confused on how your abilities work so if you could clear that up some time before like 6 EST tomorrow, that would be great. Originality: 15/15- Quite simply, having 24 abilities on one champ has never been seen before. Also her lore is pretty unique, the only parallel being Lucian/Vayne with the need to 'purify' however Khaeon is more about protection so no worries/ Viability: 4/5- With great amount of powers, comes great amount of utility...obviously XD. What I am trying to say is that you don't want it to be like Lee Sin, who a lot of people think needs to be changed because of his damage early and mobility/utility late game. Theme: 5/5- I really like your idea, and I think that your abilities are part of the lore, or vice versa. Gameplay: 4/5- See above mentioned 'Viability'. Also I think that because of Khaeon's variability in the amount of skills she has, its hard to see someone that wouldn't work well with her. Effort: 10/15- With the addition of the 'gameplay' and the sheer amount of abilities you have for your champion, you've earned the 10 points. Bonus Points: 5/5- Dual Weapon, Dual Element, Diamond, Glass TOTAL POINTS 84

Khaeon: Runeterra’s guardian Information: 3 Khaeon’s health regen is way too high and his health is also a little high Lore: 15 Good lore not bad driving story little known about the character but mystery isn’t a bad thing Abilities: 20 The issues I have is that it isn’t really clear how the abilities work and 24 abilities with all of that utility is definitely pushing it Passive: The Diamond passive is extremely powerful considering the health regen is already insane Also the Glass passive is too powerful Q: Nothing wrong here W: The glass power does not make any sense sense she already is unaffected by magic damage E: Pretty good R: Pretty good Originality: 15 yes definitely an original champion Theme: 3 I don’t really see how the champ works together with all of these forms Viability: 2 Yeah too much utility and 24 abilities really pushes the envelop Gameplay: 3 the health regen is way too high and 24 abilities is too much Effort: 12 a lot of effort went in but no list of items or quotes or anything and it is unclear how your abilities work exactly Bonus points: 5 Overall: 78
