Report Towards 3rd Noxian Marshal Ducard of The Noxian Invasion Force of Ionia:

https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2382/2345219092_5734e8f836.jpg

To The General Ducard, Concerning the Storming of Tiang Shi:

The men suffered a pyrrhic victory today, surprisingly the first time a Noxian army has won a battle with such devastating losses. The Ionians fought to their last breath, their blades dancing around our soldiers, reducing them to mere fodder. Six Imperial Battalions were lost today; our siege wagons and transports are all but reduced to shambles. We have taken up tactical position up-top the Ruins of Khal Cao, the once legendary home of the Ionian Grandmaster of Strings. Not the musical instruments, mind you, but the sort of strings used to hand people. Or, simply put, to break their necks.

If I may be so bold, General, I have to question the total brevity of the situation here in Ionia. In order to focus our attention on Demacia, we had to pull out many forces and battalions here in Ionia, leaving most of our outposts and city-states undefended. Indeed, as of now, Ionian rebels are rising up under the leadership of The Blind Monk, The Wind Swordsman, and The Wuju Bladesman. Already, our presence here is a joke towards Noxian supremacy in Ionia. If we do not request more troops and supplies towards our stations, we are guaranteed to lose all of our footholds in Ionia. I beseech you, for the sake of our men and for the Honor of Noxus, call a meeting with the Grand General and the Master Tactician to implore support from Noxian High Command.

There is another thing, that I might add, that concerns your immediate attention.

Enclosed is a combogulator disk for your listening. Please use your Zaunite Audio Translator to listen to the disk. I fear what you may about to hear may spread an even bigger plague on us all…

Combogulator Disk: The Aftermath of the Storming of Tiang Shi:

-the disk takes a while to produce audio, a faint staticky hissing ambience can be heard through the first few seconds before clearing, Noxian soldiers can be heard scuffling over the temple floor, their metal boots clacking on the marble floor, Ionian priests can be heard wailing and sobbing over their fallen brethren, as the Noxians began to move in the temple-

Noxian Soldier 1: Get those monks to the prison camp! We can’t let them escape!

Ionian Priest 1: Spare us! We are but humble priests-

-a deafening crunch is heard, as the Ionian Priest falls to the ground, moaning in pain, a heavy thud of boots begins marching across to the temple floor, and stops after a few paces-

Noxian Inquisitor: Any Ionian that dares defy our orders will have a taste of cold Noxian Steel! Got it!

Noxian Soldier 2: 2nd Inquisitor Rundarr! It is an honor to meet you, sir!

Rundarr: Ah, I know you two fine Gentlemen. Privates Gilden and Crantz. I trust these priests are all accounted for and ready to be sent to the prison camps?

Gilden: Inquisitor, there is one who refuses to move. The priests call her the Elder Lady. She is widely known as the Oldest Priestess in Ionia.

Rundarr: Hmph. I have no patience for old women and their quixotic fantasies of the past. If she but refuse to move, I will drag her frail body across the bleeding temple steps. Take me to her.

Gilden and Crantz: As you wish, Inquisitor.

-the three Noxians arrive at the hidden room where the Elder Lady is sitting down, her long, black hair covers her face as she mutters some sort of ancient incantation, the walls of the room are filled with grotesque sketches of Noxian soldiers being hung from thin ropes coming out of thin air, the soldier’s necks are bleeding and their eyes were flowing crimson with the blood of their faces-

Rundarr: -slams the door behind him, as Gilden and Crantz take their place at his sides- Hag! You will remove yourself from your position and come with us! Noxus demands that you give up your pathetic cause and give yourself to the chains of slavery!

-The Elder Lady barely responds to Rundarr’s words, as she begins to chant faster and faster, the floor is unnaturally covered with human hair, bloodied by battle and torture, Gilden and Crantz begin to sense a chill in the room, sucking the life from their bodies bit by bit-

Rundarr: -walks over to her and grabs her hair- I say this again, wench. Come with us, or you will-

Elder Lady: -breaks from her trance, and lunges at Rundarr, her pallid nails scraping against his armor, as she lets out an ear-piercing screech, causing Rundarr to push her away into the wall. As she got up, she hisses and begins to curse at him in Ancient Ionian-

Rundarr: -draws out his broadsword- Impudent bitch! I’ll make sure you-

Crantz: Wait! Inquisitor, I think I can make out what she says!

Rundarr: She but jests and hinders our movements! Nothing more!

Elder Lady: -turns to Crantz and begins chanting in Ancient Ionian loudly. As Crantz tries to decipher the words, Gilden and Rundarr keep their swords ready in case she decides to strike-

Crantz: She says…We will pay for what we’ve done. By sundown, we will all hang under the Red Moon of Winter. The skies will be bleed crimson with our blood. Our bodies will hang like…like ornaments. Ionia will have vengeance….Ionia will have…blood. Our Blood. Noxian blood…

Rundarr: -sheaths his sword, and picks up the Elder Lady by the collar- Listen to me, you pitiful wench. Your cities burn. Our forces triumph. Your Gods are dead. The only one hanging under the Red Moon will be your kind. And, I will laugh as your frail bodies will know how it feels to be crushed under true power.

Gilden: Inquisitor…

Rundarr: -picks up the Elder Lady, who is still screeching and chanting, and turns to the two- Burn this temple to the ground. All of it. And, I want the priests hanged by the time I put this hag out of its misery!

Gilden and Crantz: -salutes- Inquisitor, sir!

Rundarr: Do not be frightened with this wives’ tale. It is but mere fantasy…

-Rundarr and Crantz walk out, to prepare for the execution. As Gilden’s sound of boots walks out of the room, he begins to close the door, but is stopped by a spectral voice that was so quiet, yet it pierced his soul, “hAng…”, causing Gilden to slam the door. He then turns of his disk recorder…

I know that I may be a Private among the Noxian Army, but, there is great calamity that requires your immediate attention! There are rumors, sir, spreading among the army of a vengeful Ionian spirt, which is unseen in daytime, but preys on our troops at night. Missing battalions have been reported throughout our outposts and city-states, causing us to lose ground. I can’t think of any other Ionian Champion that would dare stand against us, with our unmeasurable size and sheer force!

Grand General, please heed my final words. Whatever this thing is…or what its true purpose may be, it must be stopped. Send help, as we cannot deal with this threat with just soldiers alone. Call upon the Black Rose, request aid from Zaun, anything to stop this threat! As a proud soldier of the Noxian Army, I will not idly sit as my army is torn to shreds!

Ionia will have its vengeance soon, I fear. And, in time, we will all hang under the bleeding sky….

3rd Private of the Inquisitor’s 2nd Battalion, Horatio Gilden

THREE MONTHS LATER:

From the Perspective of an Unnamed Noxian Scout, Approaching the Deserted Noxian Outpost of Tiang Shi:

http://www.note2forum.com/forum/attachments/galaxy-note-2-graphics/4399d1379563186-share-your-wallpapers-17875-ancient-temple-1920x1080-fantasy-wallpaper.jpg

As you run from Ionian troops, your eyes could barely keep open as the rain pounded hard upon your face. Noxian control had finally faltered, and Ionia was closer towards achieving total independence. To Noxian forces, their worst fears had been realized. Already thousands of battalions lay bleeding in the muddy terrains of Ionia; a once proud nation that has fallen under the guises of war.

This was not a battlefield anymore. It was a slaughter house.

Noticing a trench below, you duck down and shiver, hoping your pursuers will be lost in the fog ahead. Shouts could be heard, searching for the last informant. Where is he? Find his body! Leave no Noxian alive. Voices. Crying in the wind. Your breath begins to feel ragged as you shiver to try to keep warm under the rainfall of the forest. More voices. Growing louder. Could they be getting closer?

Voices fading. Rain pattering. Suddenly, the rain was all you can hear.

Taking no respite from the tension, you charge forward, heading towards the beaten path on to Tiang Shi. As you tread upon the muddy grounds of the road, thunder begins to roar loudly in the sky. Rain soon turned to hail, and you found yourself under the icy barrage of Hail. Curse the Ice Dervish for this accursed hail, you thought to yourself. You needed to find shelter soon. And, fast.

Finally, the path ends at the Outpost of Tiang Shi. Hopefully, you will find respite among the hidden tortures of Ionia. You march up towards the heavy doors. Sealed tight. Probably to keep out intruders. Opening the double doors with both hands, you take your first steps into the outpost.

What you see is a nightmare.

Beware the Hangman.

As you gaze shockingly inside as the doors close behind you, all you see are nooses. Hanging nooses. And, from those thin strands of rope, hang the very Noxian soldiers that you fought with. Ate with. Celebrated with. Their bodies hung from the ceiling, the ropes embedded in the rock. As you held back a scream of horror, you suddenly trip over one of your fallen brethren. His face was pale as he stared at you with lifeless eyes, bloodshot by the lack of oxygen to the brain…

His ropes are tight.

As you scuffle across the marble floor, taking in the sight of the hanging bodies, you can faintly hear the silent screams of victims long gone, both Ionian and Noxian. The ripping of flesh echoed throughout the halls, resounding in a ghostly tone. All you can hear is your own ragged breathing, as you feel the tears coming to your eyes. Such brutality could not be explained through simple logic. This was the work of pure vengeance afoot…

The noose you go if you run from a fight.

Noxian Soldiers. Diplomats. New recruits. War Heroes. Battle-weary veterans. Noxian blood dripped from their swollen necks, bathing the marble floor in crimson blood…

It grip is a fright, the last thing you see from the light.

You can’t hold it back any longer. Your own sanity begins to sob as you sat helpless upon the cold floor. You were trapped inside a living prison of death, and all you could do was wait.

The burdens you bear, cut by the rope that tears.

A voice resounds through the halls. Crying? A little boy? Maybe a lost Ionian child? Or, a young recruit of the Noxian Army?

Where it goes, we do not know.

You’re compelled to investigate the source. You find yourself heading towards an abandoned chamber. As you come across it, the door is rotting under years of hard use. You push the handle of the door, it reeks of rust and is soft to the touch, and you pry the door open. You close the door, and take a look inside the room…

Victory is glory, future soldiers will tell your story.

The walls are coated with dripping blood, and from the ceiling, you can see human hair falling down onto the mossy floor below. Vegetation grows abundantly among the corners of the walls, filling the room with poisonous leaves and fumes. There was no boy, yet the crying began to intensify…

Defeat is an illusion, just a mere intrusion…

You find yourself covering your ears as you hear the screams of the dying. Children sobbing, women wailing, men screaming, babies howling, all of them begging to the heavens for salvation. As it begins to intensify, you find yourself screaming along with the chorus of the lost…

Yet, the pangs of lives is exactly what the ropes despise…

Then, suddenly….

Silence.

A calm breeze sifts through the air.

You take in its scent. It was…tranquil and calming.

Not even noticing something wrapping around your neck…

All that we can foresee, from you to me….

Your body is jolted upward. You scream as you can feel the last breaths leave your body. In your final gaze, you see a pair of black eyes, as they stare deeply into the final seconds of your life…

Beware the Hangman.

A resounding crack echoes throughout the Temple of Tiang Shi. All that could be heard was the pitter-pater of rain outside the world beyond…

FOR HIS FRAME IS THE PENNANCE OF ALL HIS ENEMIES.

NOTE: I intended for Fu Xi to have this sort of spectral voice, but I was listening to certain Wraith Voices with deep and scathing qualities that instill fear into enemies. Thus, I use Sauron’s Voice as a second undertone to Xi’s spectral primary voice. Think of it as two entity voices overlapping into one…

Champion Preview:

Many have heard the tale of The Living Gallows of Ionia. Some believe it was a young boy who mastered the Art of The Killer Strings from the Ancient Ionian Grandmaster of Old. Others believe it is a vengeful Ionian Ghost in search of vengeance for the death of his family and the destruction of his village. His true voice can sometimes be heard faintly among the screams and cries of fallen Ionians and Noxians, a faint reminder of the past. His ropes are caked with the blood of the very Noxian rebels that condensed his village into fleeting ashes, and he will not stop until they hang under the Moon of Ionia. When the winds blow an ether call, the enemies of Ionia will suspend like frail ornaments in the sky, and all the world will look up to the sky and see Fu Xi, a Fallen Ionian Master bent to see the enemies of Ionia choke on their own suffering…

Fu Xi is an Attack Damage Assassin champion, built on ensnaring enemy champions and dealing massive Attack Damage over time. His useful Utility Spells allows him to tangle his opponents into an intricate web of shadow, capturing them with impressive snares and slows to go in for the kill or setting up ganks for the jungler to secure a foothold over the enemy jungler. Fu Xi’s spells as an assassin consist of many snare-based attacks, a grappling move that can save champions and himself from global ultimates, skill shots, or an unlucky tower dive. However, Xi’s most useful move is his ultimate, hanging enemy champions in the air, causing massive damage over time, and allowing allied champions to close in for the kill.

Champion Abilities:

Passive: The Bloody Frame

When Fu Xi extends his auto attack on the same target, his attack range increases, causing him to hit the same target from far away. However, his attack range only extends to the same target he is attacking, so his next attack on a different target will reset his bonus Attack Range. If Fu Xi kills an enemy champion, he lowers his cooldown for his spells by a sixth of the current cool down and regenerates a percent of his missing Health back. If he kills a minion, he regains Health based on his current level.

Attack Range Length Per Hit: 10 Attack Range Per Basic Attack on the Same Target (Caps at 250 Attack Range Total)

Cooldown Bonus When Killing Enemy Units: 1/6th Cooldown

Health Percentage Regenerated When Killing Enemy Champions: .0.025%/0.05%/0.075%/0.1%/0.125% Total Health Value Gained (Values Change during Level Up)

Health Gained When Killing Minions: 5/10/15/20/25 (+.01 of Total Health + the current Level) (Values Change During Level Up)

Q Ability: Ancient Tethers

Fu Xi releases a fast slash from his rope gauntlet in a cone shaped skill-shot, throwing back all enemies in front of him. Enemies closer to Fu Xi are pushed back farther, while enemies near the edge of the cone are not pushed back at all. Regardless, if the enemy is hit by the skillshot, they are dealt Attack Damage and are slowed for a few seconds.

Skill Shot Range: 500 Units in a Cone, Similar to Annie’s Cone of Fire.

Base Damage: 80/100/120/140/160 (+0.45 Bonus Attack Damage)

Slow Percentage: 30%/35%/40%/45%/50%

Slow Duration for Seconds: .25/.5/.75/1/1.25

Ability Cooldown: 20 Seconds for All Ranks

W Ability: The Spurns of The Unworthy

Passive: Fu Xi’s ropes become embedded with Impure Steel, a cursed form of Ancient Ionian Forgery. When attacking enemies, he applies a stack of Spectral Spurn towards the enemy. When reaching a certain number of stacks of Spectral Spurns, the spurns upon the inflicted enemy unleash cursed ropes that wrap around enemies, dealing area of affect damage. The area of effect damage bases on Total Attack Damage, thus bonuses from buffs and spells do not count towards the value. The passive goes on cooldown for 6 seconds after killing an enemy with the passive, with the exception of killing a single enemy unit without two or more units surrounding it.

Area of Effect Damage Values: 10%/20%/30%/40%/50% of Total Attack Damage added to Total Attack Damage (Buffs and Spells That Increase Attack Damage Do Not Count)

Spectral Stacks Needed to Deal Area of Effect Damage: 5 Spectral Stacks

Cooldown for Passive: 6 Second Cooldown for All Ranks

Active: Fu Xi ties himself down to the ground, and unleashes an unholy tether at the targeted enemy champion, dealing Attack Damage over 3 Seconds. Tethered champions that break from the tether or try to move away suffer additional Attack Damage. If the tethered champion breaks away from the tether by moving out of the tether’s range, they suffer the remaining incoming damage as 50%, converted to True Damage. When an enemy champion moves towards Fu Xi when he is tethered, the tether breaks after coming in close range of Fu Xi, making Xi unrooted and able to move around. Xi cannot use Summoners Spells when rooted.

Damage per Second When Tethered: 15/30/45/60/75 (+0.75 Bonus Attack Damage)

Base Cast Range: 500 Units

Base Close Proximity to Cancel Tether: 200 Units

Base Maximum Range of Tether: 650 Units

Base Cooldown for Active: 12 Seconds at All Ranks

E Ability: Strings Of Fate

Fu Xi releases a grappling claw in a targeted direction. The tether travels slowly towards its target, so enemy champions can block the tether on its return route. When it makes contact with a friendly physical barrier i.e. Turrets, Champion-Made Barriers, Walls, Friendly Minion, or Inhibitor, he creates a tether towards the target. The tether takes a few seconds to secure tightly onto the location, and can be blocked if an enemy champion stands inside the tether for 3 seconds. However, Xi cannot cast this spell when stunned, snared, or rooted. Xi can activate the ability if he reaches lower than 15% Health, dashing towards the tethered object. As Xi arrives at the target location, he gains a burst of Cooldown Reduction and Increased Health Regeneration for a few seconds.

Base Cast Range: 450 Units

Base Health Regeneration: 2%/4%/6%/8%/10% (+0.15 x [Current Base Level])

Base Cooldown Reduction Bonus: 1%/2%/3%/4%/5% (+0.1 x [Current Base Level])

Base Cooldown: 15 Seconds for All Ranks

R Ability: The Hangman’s Hour

Fu Xi begins channeling an unholy conflux at a target location. The conflux can be noticed by a darkening circle of bloodied hair beginning to sprout out of the ground. However, this circle is harder to see in the Water and in Jungle Terrain. After five seconds, a cascade of hellish nooses descend from the air, engulfing the enemy champions in the vicinity of the circle. Fu Xi then teleports down on to the middle of the circle, pulling up all champions in the air, hanging them and dealing massive Attack Damage instantly. Surviving champions who survive the Hang are suspended for a duration of 1/1.5/2 Seconds. However, they are immune to any form of attack, spell, or ability, including Airborne Ultimates. When they are dropped to the ground, they are slowed for 15%/30%/45% over .25/.5/.75 Seconds.

Base Cast Width: 750 Units

Base Cast Range: 3500/4000/4500 Units

Base Attack Damage: 125/250/350 (+0.5 Attack Damage)

Base Airborne Duration: 1/1.5/2 Seconds

Base Slow: 15%/30%/45%

Base Cooldown: 150/125/100 Seconds

Champion Skins:

Champion Gameplay:

For Fu Xi, it’s all about connecting towards your allies and enemies around you. One wrong connection can sever the tie between a quick victory and an illustrious defeat. Xi’s abilities allow him to tether to both ally and enemy, each with their own different effects. This opens up a number of play styles for Fu Xi, allowing him to be a defensive assassin who strikes with precision or an offensive fighter who goes all in for the kill. Utilizing the strengths and learning the limitations of Xi’s abilities is crucial to devising a proper play style.

Let’s start with explaining his abilities. His Passive, The Bloody Frame, provides a unique experience to the short range Attack Assassins. Most Assassins, such as Zed, Talon, and Riven, have to get up close and personal with their sparse Attack Range. But, with Xi’s passive, he can quickly move backwards from his initial target without losing Attack Range, as it extends through each consecutive hit on his targets. This provides a barrier of safety for Xi as he is in the early phases of the game, as Xi can move away from champions when harassing and avoiding ganks when an enemy jungler comes from the side.

The most notable of Xi’s abilities is the Q and W. Q thrusts all enemies close to Xi back away from attack distance, giving Xi a chance to escape. If enemies get closer to Xi, he can use his W, The Spurns of the Unworthy, to deal a considerable amount of damage before they close in on Xi. However, if Xi still has his Q ability up, he can use the tether from his W to push the enemy back, dealing immense amounts of damage. This W-Q Combination can sever enemy champions if they decide to attack you.

The explanation of the W-Q combination must be studied further in order to use it properly. As stated in the ability description, the tether when the W is activated can be broken if it comes in close proximity of either cancel ranges, which is either the maximum range of the tether or within melee distance of Xi. As the tether deals the remaining damage as 50% of True Damage, it is possible to use the Q to knock back the enemy champion out of the tether range. The hardest part is keeping the champion out of melee range, as enemy champions can cancel your tether to the tethered champion before initiating the combo. Utilizing this combination can help you execute fleeing champions or push back enemy champions while dealing a considerable amount of damage.

Strings of Fate, or Xi’s E ability, is the only form of escape and defensive spell for Fu Xi. However, this only works when Xi is in need of the escape in dire situations, such as when he’s at low health. Similar to Lee Sin’s Vanguard Shield, Xi can dash towards tethered Allied Objects when at low health, with the exception of Allied Champions. This creates a form of escape when Xi is in trouble, or when he needs to get towards a rapid location quickly. However, the tether travels in a skill shot before attaching towards the object, so enemy champions can deny Xi’s escape by standing in front of the tether before it reaches the shot or by standing in the tether when it is active.

Xi’s ultimate, The Hangman’s Hour, requires skill and precision to place. As Xi channels the ability before activating, other champions can interrupt his channel through a snare or a stun to immediately place the ability on cooldown. Also, the dark circle indicator that builds within Xi’s target zone is easily noticeable when not covered by brushes, water, or any other type of terrain, as it extends from the middle of the zone outwards toward the ability range. However, when used and placed properly, Xi’s ultimate can become a nightmare for teamfights, by suspending enemy champions for a considerable amount of damage and slowing them, allowing Allies to rush in and secure the kill.

When Laning, utilize your Passive effectively by learning to harass enemy champions from afar and learning to last hit minions, as you gain a percentage of health back to sustain you in lane. It is advisory to take an ability point in The Spurns of the Unworthy when beginning a match to help you create area of effect damage to kill minions quickly. Then, take Ancient Tethers, Strings of Fate, followed by The Hangman’s Hour as your Ability Queue. Harassing melee assassins, such as Zed and Talon, can be easy with Xi’s passive, but Ranged Champions, such as Gnar and Azir, will be able to match your extended Attack Range with projectiles.

Going for the kill is simple for Fu Xi. For safety, make sure you tether yourself towards an Allied Minion, Tower, or Ward in case you need an escape. These objects need to be properly placed within your intended escape route. If you choose to do this at a later interval, you can begin to close in for the kill by activating The Strings of the Unworthy on the selected champion. Then, use your auto attacks to keep attacking from afar, backing away if he starts to counter attack. If he gets too close, that will be the time to initiate Ancient Tethers. Knock him back with Ancient Tethers if the champion gets too close, and if the tether is still active, it will deal extra damage and possibly finish off what remaining health he has left.

Teamfights can easily be initiated with Xi’s ultimate. It can easily be used in conjunction with knock-up abilities in order to distract enemy champions from noticing the channel or the casting of the spell. However, Xi’s ultimate can be used as an initiator in teamfights, if timed properly. If enemy champions decide to engage first before your team decides to attack, you can activate the ability in the middle of the chaos while the enemy is busy engaging. The distraction will make the enemy team oblivious to the casting of the ultimate, and allow you to deal massive damage without the enemy team knowing.

Knock, Knock: Fu Xi and Master Yi:

Yi walks up to the abandoned temple. The goggles shown through the dark as he quietly entered, shutting the door behind him.

Empty.

It was full of hanging corpses, but, for Yi, he saw the silence of emptiness.

Yi advanced, his boots clacking across the marble floor.

A mossy door. Rotting bark. Soft leaves.

Yi knocks. The touch of the door cold to his knuckles.

A whisper.

“Yi…”

Yi smiles. “Young Master Xi. It has been a while.”

The door opens with a creak. Through his lifeless helmet, Fu Xi stares at the Wuju Bladesman, who was paying his young acolyte a visit.

Yi closes the door. He then sits cross-legged in front of Xi. A fresh pot of herbal tea boils gently in front of them.

Yi doesn’t hesitate to take a cup next to the pot and pour himself a warm cup of Jasmine. “My boy, you have aged.”

Xi shrugs.

Yi takes a quiet sip of his drink. His mind became calm at the scent of jasmine perforating his nostrils. “Tea is the balm of the soul, don’t you think?”

Xi shrugs again, preparing a cup for himself.

“Not much to say since your master passed away, hm?”

Xi fiddles with his cup. He is reluctant to take a sip.

“Anger.”

Xi’s clouded gaze stares at Yi attentively. Yi looks back at the prodigy with a smile. “We all fear it, my boy. Question is, how does one control the rage festering in our souls?”

A cold breeze passes into the room from a broken hole in the roof. The fire dies out.

“Death…”

Yi shakes his head. He puts down his cup and puts his hands on his lap. “No. Death only condemns angry souls to the deepest pits of hell.”

Xi grunts. Death killed the body, not the soul…

“I can sense your anger, Xi. For them. Noxians. But, we Ionians must learn to control that anger through time.”

Xi sits silently. The wind silently howls throughout the room.

“Even a master can notice these things. Even, when a soul misses his family eternally.”

Xi sniffles. Emotion hath clouded his incorrigible mind. No! Weak! Suffering! Only strength! Only-

Yi places a hand on Xi’s shoulder, causing Xi to jump in shock. “Emotion is inevitable. This place, I think, is where you let everything go. Because, you’re young... And, still have much to learn.”

Xi could not take this anymore. He gently brushes away Yi’s hand, and removes his helmet. Those cerulean eyes, staring at Yi with festering tears.

Yi quietly brushes away a tear. “Tears are for mourning. Not for a master.”

Xi shudders.

“Not…A….Master…”

Yi silently takes out a small object, wrapped in cloth. He places it in Xi’s hands, and folds his hands over it. “My dear boy…You were always one.”

Xi stares down. The shape was a medallion. He unfolds it. It was his Master’s. The Talisman of Mastery.

Xi looks up. Yi is gone. The door is sealed shut, as if no one came in.

The medallion glistened in the moonlight. Shining.

Xi puts it around his neck.

He must do it.

He will protect.

For Master Yi.

For His Family.

For the Grandmaster.

For Ionia.

Fu Xi tauntingly slides a pale finger over his throat, as he uses his free hand to conjure a chained Noxian Spirit. As the spirit begs for release, Fu Xi snaps the spirit’s throat with a swift jerk, as the spirit dissipates into the air.

Joke:

Fu Xi lies down on the ground, and he is slowly lifted up by his strings. The strings form a hammock, and Fu Xi silently rests among the chaos of battle.

Recall Animation:

Fu Xi levitates in the air, as nooses descend from the air. As Fu Xi channels his rage, he uses his power to pull himself up along with the nooses. He then descends down onto the platform, re-materializing as he does.

Death Animation:

Fu Xi kneels down on the ground, and is suddenly lifted by a noose attached to his neck. As he struggles to get out of the grasp, the noose jerks upward, silencing and killing Fu Xi.

Respawn Animation:

Fu Xi is still hanging after his “apparent” death. He suddenly jerks back to life, then frees himself out of the noose, hitting the ground with a thud. He then gets back up, ready for more vengeance.

Champion Quotes:

NOTE: Fu Xi’s true voice is sometimes heard throughout the champion quotes. However, most of his lines are derived from the souls of the people he has killed, either speaking in multitude or speaking alone. It is very hard to catch Xi’s real voice, as it is below the normal decibel of human hearing…

Upon Selection:

”Hang…”

Summary:

That is my champion for the October Champion Concept Contest! I got most of the updates out of the way, but there will be changes to spell values and other tweakments. I might have time to add more spectral voices and other tidbits of Xi’s ghostly personality. If you want, you can suggest ghostly voices that have become one with Fu Xi’s spirit! As always, suggestions, comments, and upvotes (Or, downvotes, but with reason.) are appreciated! I’ll also be on the lookout for other concepts that I can creat special interaction with!

Thanks again for reading! Good Luck to all you Champion Concept Contest Artists! DMC7500 signing off!

I got serious chills reading this, Fu Xi is absolutely brutal.

Passive: Your passive is unique in the fact it makes a melee character into a ranged character, This helps with chasing and possibly finishing an opponent. This is strong on it's own... but it has more, reduces cool down by 1/6th, really strong on almost any champion... And a boost to health regen (is it permanent?)... and a small amount of health each minion kill... Most of these are strong enough to be a passive on its own. Together, it feels it's too much and too strong. You get range bonuses, AND a heal AND a regen (which i interpret as a permanent gain) AND a cool down reduction... you would be able to get away with the bonus in range and cool down, even then it'd be one of the strongest passives in the game.

Q: An ability that pushes you back 500 units away, AND slows (though slow doesn't become a major player till later game.) My concern, on an assassin, knocking someone back isnt the best way to catch them. A similar ability is Syndra's scatter the weak. Her ability has you out scaled in all aspects, lower CD, higher damage, only difference, yours is a guaranteed slow hers is a possible stun. her stun through lasts 1.5 seconds. Your ability is not a clone at all, just has similar mechanics. Your ability seems to be a perfect escape skill and any time, with near 0 counter play when in a jungle.

W: This ability is... weird? passively you need 5 auto attacks to deal a huge amount of damage. Math, late game, lets say you only are dealing only 300 damage per attack, so at 5 stacks you've dealt 1500+a bonus 750 for a total 2250 damage, instakill ANY none tank champion and in a team fight... the passive has 0 CD for the first three targets. PLUS this passive is similar to zeds ult, the death-mark part only. It would decimate ANY target too effectively. Active: this ability feels unique, only problem i feel is... this ability has no real was to avoid it... your choices are, stay in range for the duration, which is bad. Escape the circle, then take true damage, which is possibly just as bad, or approach and then have to deal with a melee champ who gains attack range per attack... Most abilities have some sort of counter play. The majority are skill shots or AOE where you can step away from it. The minority are click to cast, and those are not as powerful as this ability. yes it roots your champ, BUT the root cancels when in melee range of ANY melee champion., which is most Junglers, top laners and ALL assassins.

E: This ability confuses me... he casts a tether to a wall, or tower, or minion, or inhibitor, And then you lost me. It has no max range? and it takes 3 seconds (which is a long time) to break it by standing inside? Also has ) duration so theoretically indefinite... plus it acts as a safe escape from any situation, heals for a decently high amount plus a cdr, which if you needed the escape is not the most useful, AND possibly allows you to have a free tower dive (cause you just E before you die and you will probably survive... It just confuses me and rubs me the wrong way. Also a major downside it, the tether would reveal your location if someone follows it.

R: Amumu meets pantheon... to sum this ability up. first off... nearly identical damage and CD to Amumu, a LARGE range. plus slow. On your champion I feel it would allow you to take out an entire team on your own with no risk. Here is why, you wait for a team fight, then tether yourself at a safe range away, cast your ult, get maybe 3-5 champs in the ult, jump to that location damage and stun, cast W or AA (either way your huge damage total would whipe out 2 characters by the time you might drop below 15%. If you do drop there, you E and escape with no possible chase (only a TF ult can do this). you've dropped probably closer to 3 or 4 champions by this time.

My notes : I look at this champion and i wouldnt enjoy playing with this champion on my team, nor would i enjoy playing against a champion like this. He is an anti melee champion it feels. Solely from one part of his passive. His passive is too good collectively. Just feels weird to me.

one of the best Lores that i have ever read, their were so many levels to it, that just went so well together. The best part was where u started off with the children's story and then had it echoing later on. That was honestly chilling. I can tell that a lot of thought and work went into this champion, but I feel hes a bit too OP, with his passive, I think everything else besides the slow on his ult, and infinite range and time on the E, is ok
