Larmut, The Flames of Despair
Since Targon has their dragon, Aurelion sol, and Demacia having their's, Shyvana, I decided to make one for noxus. I do not have an image to show it, but to describe the champ it would look something of a male, teenage human, with pale skin, ashen-black hair with embers emitting from it, wearing tattered dragon slayer armor. Along with Horns, demonic yellow eyes, with draconic wings, limbs, and a tail, with the draconic features having an obsidian color to it. I wanted him to not just be a character that experiences his thrill of battle, but honoring those he vanquishes as well, giving the benevolence and fury of a dragon, and the honor and respect of a warrior. The rest of his lore and his moveset and passive will be below. Enjoy reading about dragons burning things!
Lore: Once there was a fabled dragon living in the outskirts of Noxus, with obsidian scales and a breath that was said to picture the apocalypse, one day, Noxus decided to strike it down for glory of their glorious empire. Once they entered, the dragon rose from its slumber questioning why they are here to face against his power. With Noxus's pride urging them to strike the beast down, the dragon rose up and swept away all the fighters, except for a few that scampered back to the Noxus prime, warning them of the coming destroyer that they have angered. Noxus that day had to face the drale, breaking out of its lair and taking to the skies, ready destroy the main stronghold of Noxus, for its reason, its eternal rage. Those who came to face it have died a painful death, having to face flames of disaster and ruin. Before the drake could reach the center of the empire to unleash its wrath, the last bastion of dragon slayers arrived. Before the beast could deliver the finishing blast to an empire that it would so decimate it entirely, a rogue dragon slayer by the name of Larion struck down the drake by impaling its heart with a spear, causing the explosive blast to backfire, with him in it. As he awoke he found an Empire, burning and broken, but not as severely as the drake intended to do so. He awoke with the blood of a befallen dragon poured all over him, feeling a burning touch to him, but the more he came contact with it the more the pain stopped, but the outcome did not happen to any other of the soldiers somehow. Luckily he wasn't considered crippled so he took refuge to recover. Over time of his recovering, he felt stronger each day that had come passed, realizing the skin on his arms and legs were hardening and turning darker. The last day of his recovery, he woke up to the sight of ashen wings surrounding him with obsidian scales and claws taken place of his skin on the limbs of his body. When Noxus finally declared him in a battle against Demacia, he wore a cloak to disguise himself to fool the enemy to think of him as a poor pawn to the battlefield.Once the enemy approached, he burnt off his cloak with ease, revealing his new and almighty power before Noxus and Demacia. He immediately flew to Demacia with a wave of chaotic flames that melted through even Demacia's forces. The battle was not yet done, once the battle was thought to end, Shyvana flew in to counter Larion's wrath. It ended in a tie between the drakes, as well with the warring kingdoms on that battlefront. Even though the armies lost, he gathered the remaining corpses of the dead, even that of the enemy, then burned them as a way of honor of strength and courage. After the fight, Larion was renamed to Larmut, due to his now recovered draconic power that was held inside him for decades, thanks to drawing in the blood of a beast of destruction. Now, Larmut is a secret weapon to Noxus, decimating countless foes with flames that can only be described as a wave of calamity. However, besides knowing how to kill, he has only with one thing on his mind, to seek revenge against the dragon he had fought during the fight between Noxus and Demacia.
Moveset and Stats: damage: AP role: Jungle
Passive - Burning Dread: Whenever Larmut is lower than 50% of his maximum health, each of his abilities leaves a trail of flames behind for 3 seconds, corresponding to the range of the cast. Enemies that stand within the flames will be slowed by 20% and take AP damage as long as they are in the fire. Second passive: Larmut deals 25% more damage, and 10% lifesteal towards drakes.
Q - Dragoon's Fang/Dragon's Dive: Larmut throws his burning spear in a straight line piercing through all enemies, which most damage scoring on the first enemy hit. If the spear lands in a wall, it stays impaled into it, which Larmut can recast while near it to jump onto the pole of the spear and jump, along with a dive bomb with an explosive blast that knocks up enemies, which can be aimed within 2 seconds. If the land misses the enemy, he will do a whirlwind of flames that spreads over an area, dealing damage but at a smaller scale than the dive bomb itself. In dragon form, Larmut immediately dashes forward, even over walls, with an explosive knockup on the end of the attack.
w - Wings of Havoc: Larmut's wings set ablaze and beats his wings at the target location, creating a heat wave that traverses terrain, the impact of the wave dealing AP damage, and the heat lasts for 2.5 seconds, damaging all enemies in it by a small amount. If the key is held, Larmut flies forward along with the heat wave, which deals damage to the first target hit and stuns them if he hits them against a wall. In dragon form, the Wings of Havoc travel farther and faster, so does the dash.
E - Eye of the Wyrm: Larmut fires out an explosive blast of fire in the shape of a dragon's eye in a straight direction, exploding on the first enemy hit, damaging all enemies in the explosion. While firing the blast, Larmut creates a recoil of effect, making a burst of flames behind him, damaging enemies behind him also in a short range. In dragon form, if this ability kills an enemy champion or epic monster, he can cast it again within 4 seconds.
R - Draconic Destruction: Larmut assumes his full power into an armored, quadrupedal, Fire dragon. In this form, Larmut's damage greatly increases movement speed, and gives him Ability power, Magic resist and Armor. This also increases the range of his w and e. The passive left behind from his attacks do increased damage and even more damage towards champions that have higher maximum health than Larmut does.
I hope you like this champion idea, I thought it would be nice to have a dragon that not only ties with Noxus, but against Demacia as well. Also I thought giving Shyvana a dragon nemesis would be cool, because having Demacia's fire breathing lizard pit against Noxus's would be epic. Also we didn't give much more ideas to put into the fight between Noxus and Demacia, since we been focusing on the fighting between Noxus and Ionia these days, along with the release of the Irelia rework and the soon to come Akali rework.
