[Champion Concept] - Lekgolo, the Bonded Hunter (non-serious; Lekgolo is a character from Halo)
In the Halo Universe, a Lekgolo (or as humans refer to him: a Hunter) is a big creature which actually consists of hundreds of worms merged together. His heavy armor and shield make him nearly invincible when faced directly, but his exposed back leaves for some weaknesses. Hunters always fight in pairs, covering eachothers weak backs and giving eachother morale and combat boosts. (look up some pictures on Google to get the idea of how they look).
In the League universe, Lekgolo in a melee tanky support who excels at protecting and buffing his Bonded Ally.
PASSIVE: Bonded Shield
Lekgolo's heavy front armor and shield protect the merged worms. Lekgolo takes 15% reduced damage when attacked from the front, but 5% increased damage when attacked from behind.
(Note: since supports usually have less money , this passive makes up for it. You can get away building HP instead of HP + resistances)
Q: Fuel Rod Blast (50/60/70/80/90 mana ; 12/11/10/9/8 sec cd ; range: 850) Lekgolo charges his Fuel Rod Cannon for 0,5 sec, then fires a blast at target location, dealing 70/110/150/190/230 (+0,5 AP) magic damage to all enemies hit and slowing them by 40% for 2 sec. Enemy champions hit also have their armor reduced by 10/15/20/25/30 for 3 seconds.
(NOTE: This is the ability you want to max first: the armor reduction makes him great with Lethality/ability marskman like MF, Lucian, Draven etc.)
W: Spirit Bond (70 mana ; 24/22/20/18/16 sec cd (for the active, non-ally cast)) passive: Lekgolo and his Bonded Ally gain 15% increased movement speed towards eachother. The Bonded Ally also gains 10/15/20/25/30 armor and magic resistance.
active (ally cast): the selected ally will become the Bonded Ally. This part of the ability has a 25 sec cooldown, regardless of cdr.
(Note: to ensure the Lekgolo has to make the strategic decision of choosing which ally to bond with during the next teamfight. a cd of 25 seconds ensures this. During longer or prolonged teamfights, a 25 sec cd will make it an option to switch te bonding to another ally)
active (non-ally cast): Lekgolo and his ally bond, losing the passive bonuses. Instead, Lekgolo and his Bonded Ally gain 30% movemen speed while chasing down enemy champions. Additionally, Lekgolo gains a shield which absorbs up to 100/150/200/250/300 (+5% of your max health) damage. When the shield aborbs damage, it transfers 75% of that value to a shield for his Bonded Ally. (so if you have shield of 400 hp and receive 400 damage, your ally will get a 300hp shield) Additionally, Lekgolo tries to maneuver his body in such a way he doesn't expose his back (meaning he will always try to face the most fed/most damage dealing enemy in his close proximity). These effects last 6 seconds.
E: Shield Bash (65/70/75/80/85 mana ; 14 sec cd ; charge range: 600 (stops when hitting terrain)) Lekgolo charges forward (relatively slow, like Sion ult), taking all enemy champions with him. During the charge, Lekgolo bashes enemies with his shield twice, each dealing 40/60/80/100/120 (+12% of your total armor) physical damage. The second bash also stuns all enemy champions hit for 1 second.
R: Assualt Charge Beam (100 mana ; 130/105/80 sec cd; range: 1500) Lekgolo fires a beam in a straight line from his Fuel Rod Cannon for 2 seconds. The beam deals a total 200/275/350 (+ 0,6 AP) magic damage over 2 seconds (at intervals of 0,25 seconds). Damaging enemy champions with the beam overcharges it with Fuel Rod Energy, transferring the energy to your Bonded Ally: For 4 seconds (starting when you fire the beam), your Bonded Ally deals 10 - 20/25/30% increased damage (depending on how long and how many enemy champions are with during the beam charge (not how much damage you did to them, only the number and time of champions hit count)). Casting Spirit Bond during this time will transfer 125% of its shield value to the ally, instead of 75%.
That's it folks. I tried to to respect the nature/lore/fighting style of the Lekgolo in the Hunter games and apply it on this game. The abilities may not be the unique ones (his passive and Q), although I like the idea of transferring a shield to your ally and boosting their damage while you are dealing damage.
