Concept- Melissa, the Third Eye
I don't usually write on the forums, but I had an idea and I wanted to keep it somewhere so I don't forget about it. This was just a fun idea I came up with, suggestions are great because I'm still working on it. Key Idea- A mage with fury This is still a work in progress :)
Melissa Epithet- The Third Eye Roles- Mage, Support Abilities- Third Eye, Bloom/Magic Flame, Beautiful Light/Blinded, Gift/Leech, Spirit's Hope/Dark Desire
Kit- Passive- Third Eye Every third attack grants 3 additional fury. +1 Fury every second/auto attack When Melissa has 100 Fury, she gains access to a new skillset and the dark form. While in dark form, Melissa opens her third eye and gains 30% additional Ability Power. Her form lasts until she runs out of fury.
Q- Bloom/Magic Flame Trap When in light form, Melissa plants a flower that deals 40/45/55 (+25% ap) to enemies, and heals allies for 30/35/45 (+40% ap) when stepped on. The plant lasts for 100/150 seconds. When in Dark form, Melissa places a magic flame that deals 50/60/65 (+40% ap) to enemies. The fire lasts until Melissa switches back to Light form. The flame is invisible to enemies.
W- Beautiful Light/Blinded Single Target When in light form, Melissa sends a ray of light from her third eye to an enemy, dealing 30/35/40 (+50% ap) and causing enemies to harmlessly walk towards her for .7/1/1.4/1.7 seconds. When in dark form, Melissa sends a terrible light towards an enemy, dealing 45/50/55 (+60% ap) and terrifying enemies for .7/1/1.4/1.7 seconds and giving Melissa and her team true sight of the champion.
E- Gift/Leech AOE When in light form, Melissa gifts all allies within 800/1000 units a shield that absorbs 100/150/200 damage. If the shield has any remaining power after 30 seconds, it turns into health. If no allies are near Melissa while this is cast, it gives her a shield worth 75% of the original shield. When in dark form, Melissa Leeches all enemies within 500/600/700 units for 100/150/230 health (+5% of max health of enemy) and gives herself 80% of the health taken.
R- Spirits Hope/Dark Desire When in light form, Melissa heals herself and all allies on the map for 100/200/250 health and grants them +30 armor and magic resist for 30 seconds. When in dark form, Melissa deals 100/150/250 (+30% ap) to all enemies on the map.
That is her kit, now here are some stats- Strengths Melissa shreds through tanks with her E in dark form, and she can do lots of damage early game with her W in light form and her R in dark form. She would do very well in team fights, with her great team buffs on her E and R in light and if her team loses the team fight, she can still dash away and end the lower enemies with her R in dark. In mid lane, she could be very bursty and give herself heals, like Nidalee in midlane.
Weaknesses Melissa can not do much as of damage in her light form, and her major weakness is her Q. Because her Q is visible to enemies, the Bloom would do very little damage. She can be built as a tank, but she would still be destroyed in top lane by strong damaging enemies. Melissa would have a major weakness to stuns and silences, because of her dependence on her abilities.
Lore- Melissa was always interested in magic growing up in Bandile City. She read stories about mages and witches, and even as a young yordle she pretended to cast spells on her friends to give them special abilities. As she grew older, she became more interested in a place called the Glade, a magical land of magic that her friends had told her about. One day, the yordle decided to search for the glade, taking a bag of supplies with her. She searched for days in the woods, looking around corners and hiding from the view of the creatures. As days passed, she grew tired and starting running out of supplies. She ate the honeyfruit bushes growing by the rivers, but it wasn't enough. As she continued searching for the glade, she started to give up hope, walking carelessly through the forest. As she walked, she began to hear growling behind her. The wolves... she thought, frozen. As the wolves gained on her, she broke into a run and dashed got away, until she tripped over an overgrown root. She closed her eyes, expecting to be feasted on by the wolves, but a strange light began to glow in front of Melissa. The wolves raced away, and she stayed on the ground, breathing heavily. In the light, a voice spoke. "Melissa, you have been searching for the glade. I have been watching, and I will help you." Melissa stood up, listening. "Here is the magic you have been wishing for." The yordle felt a burning on her forehead, an eye etching into her skin. "Don't let it get to your head." The spirit said as the light disappeared. Once the pain had passed, Melissa tried the spells she pretended to use as a child on a plant. The spell had worked, and the yordle continued to spread her magic everywhere on her way back to Bandle City. Going back had taken as long as getting there. She got lost several times, but found her way eventually. Her spells gave her so much power, she could do anything to the forest, yet she had a hard time following the spirits last statement. The yordle searched for the wolves, seeking revenge. Once she had found the wolves, she first killed the cubs and then focused on the adult. Her powers could bring goodness to the forest, but they could also bring evil. Melissa tortured the wolf, killing it with her newfound magic. Once she was done, she felt strong, like she could do anything. Once she arrived in Bandle City, she showed her new magic on a rabbit, telling her friends the story of the wolves and how she almost died. Her friends were horrified, and ran away. Melissa didn't understand, her magic was amazing, how could they be scared? The voice rang in her ears of the spirits last words. Gradually, Melissa gained control of her powers, yet occasionally she lost self-control. Later, Melissa was recruited for the League of Legends to keep her powers safe. While she still had a difficult time, it became easier to save her powers for good, occasionally.
