Diana was the perfect opportunity to make a Blood Moon-based Legendary skin

Ashe and Yi had for Project line of skins. Veigar had for Arcade line of skins. Tristana for the Dragon Trainer line of skins. Sion for the Mecha line of skins. Cho Gath and Skarner got one for the Battlecast line of skins.

Hell you get it.

Considering that this champion should've had this skin a LONG ago by now, and that its based on the very entity she praises and that there are many Blood Moon skins around already. She was the PERFECT candidate and it was the perfect moment to make her a legendary skin based on this Skin line.

It puzzles me, I was expecting her skin to be a legendary :P

Do you realize that none of the champions you cited have ANYTHING in their character or descriptions that links them with their Legendary skin's themes? If anything, a legendary skin for Diana would show her as a Solari like Leona instead. Now, that'd be epic. Diana, while moon themed, already has a Lunar Revel skin that follows the theme. Why more? It gets redundant. Show me something completely different for once.

Well, all the skins you mentioned change their champion's background drastically, can you imagine tristana talking to a cannon while holding a baby dragon? Or jinx talking about blowing stuff up while being a guardian?

She got a 1350, thats good enough, if i was a diana main i'd want her legendary to be something truly fresh and surprising, not just a red chroma (a good one tho)

About the redundancy part, the blood moon skin already exists. So its already redundant, its better to make it redundant cool atleast.

Considering that legendary skins include new voices, big model changes and new particles: Blood Moon diana doesn't really need any of those, since her personality wouldn't really change that much and her abilities and appearence is already moon inspired making changes to that kinda redundant.

Edit: Blood Empress sounds better, but it still has the same problems as above only to a lesser extent.
