Ibara, the Chi Whisperer:

Not my art, just something I found that kinda matched a cool idea for him. http://img04.deviantart.net/3490/i/2011/063/e/9/humanoid_concept_2_by_mr_goblin-d3axoo9.png

"I shall conquer not one more enemy, until I have conquered myself.".

Ibara is a tank-mage "monk" like character who can manipulate his Chi and others. Using Chi, the force of life, strengthens Ibara's Chi and connection to his Chi. Even able to contain his enemies Chi in a jade figurine, Ibara is a late game monster. With better and better scaling as the game goes on, Ibara also becomes tankier. Although as a health stacker, items such as Blade of The Ruined King and Liandry's Torment or abilities like Silver Bullets and Bio-Arcane Barrage crush him. Immobile though and lacking CC, Ibara is also skillshot oriented and with mobility can be tossed aside. Also gated by mana, Ibara can fall behind easily early on, not allowing him to consume Jade Idols and making his scaling weak while his health stays low.

>BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Ibara has around a 200 unit basic attack range and would either go mid or top most likely. He is a combo mage that lacks mobility and as a result requires to be tankier than most mages. Think of him as Gragas, Swain, or Maokai. He is a mage, but builds quite a bit of tank. Starting with a tank item would likely be advised as he has low scaling early game and will survive towards late game with that extra defense.

Please keep in mind the numbers are mostly just place holders to give you an idea.

Passive: Flowing Life: Every 1 minutes and 45 seconds, Ibara acquires a Jade Idol. His abilities gain bonus scale off his current Jade Idols. He also gains maximum health based on how many Jade Idols he has. Healing is increased for each Jade Idol he has and if he kills an enemy champion he will consume his current Jade Idols to make the maximum health he has from them and scaling on abilities permanent. Killing the Dragon, or assisting, will give Ibara a Dragon Idol which gives him highly increased movement speed when he consumes the idol, but does not give him any other bonuses (such as max health or ability scaling). Dragon Idols do not count towards the max amount of Idols. If he kills the Baron Nashor, or assists in killing, will give him a Foreign Idol. Foreign Idols, when consumed, will double any other permanent bonuses from consuming other Idols. The maximum amount of Idols he can hold, max health from idols, and ability scaling from Idols increases each ult rank. (Max idol storage: 5/6/7/8). After consuming 30 idols, the Idols give him 5 movement speed and +7 health per 5 seconds for each Idol after the 30th. After consuming 40 Idols, Ibara's ultimate goes off cooldown. Idols cannot be consumed after that point and do not give max health or ability scaling, but affect Jade Barrage.

On death Ibara loses 2/2/3 (based on ult rank) jade idols.

_Summary of Passive: Helps Ibara become tankier while allowing him to build tankier while keeping noticeable damage. _

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chi Force/Fearsome Spirit: Ibara's hands ignite with a jade fire and he shoots out a bolt of the flame that damage the first enemy hit. Ibara can reactivate this within 4.5 seconds to shoot the second bolt, with the same affects. If he his both skill shots on an enemy champion, he can reactivate a third time to activate Fearsome Spirit.

> Fearsome Spirit: WIth the same range as Chi Force, Ibara realeses his own Chi in a rage. This spell appears as Ibara slaps both hands together vertically in a way where his fingers lace like teeth. This time it takes the form of a "holographic", if you will, jade dragon. With equal damage, Fearsome Spirit also stuns the first enemy hit for 1.25 seconds. . Enemies debuffed with "Spirit Struck" take 15/20/30/40/45 true damage for each spell that hits them.

(Range: Braum Q + 50 units of length)

Summary of Q: This is Ibara's main source of damage. Due to having many recasts, each cast would have reduced damage compared to the average ability such as Brand's Pillar of Fire and Swain's E. It is also his only CC. This spell is his main source of poke and is used to start his combo. If you pull off the 1.25 second stun, Ibara will have time to set up a Chi Chain on a minion behind the enemy champion. Then landing a Jade Barrage will be easy as it will home in.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

W: Chi Chain: Ibara pulls the life and Chi out of a target enemy. It deals damage as it travels to him and deals damage to the target. If the chain travels through an enemy champion, he will keep that champion's Chi, mark them with "Spirit Struck", and collecting it as a Jade Idol. He will also get healed when he acquires the Jade Talismen. Ibara will still be healed, but can only take a Champion's Chi every 1 and a half minutes. Killing an enemy resets the timer for when he can take their Chi.

(Range: Vlads Q + 30 units of range)

Summary of W: The main source of Jade Idols, Ibara uses this to increase his damage to targets, but in itself not deal much damage. It does add some decent waveclear.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

E: Jade Barrage: Ibara channels for one second, as his current Jade Idols charge with the Chi of their owners and float. The channel decreases his movement by 10%. The Jade Idols will float around Ibara. They are seperated into 3 groups that will deal damage when they collide with an enemy and return to Ibara's stash until he fires them off. This costs a flat amount of mana per second until he reactivates Jade Barrage. He shoots the Jade Idols forward. If they miss, he loses one Jade Idol. If it hits a minion it will deal damage to that one target and return immediately. If it hits an enemy champion it bounce to another enemy champion nearby, then return to him. If the target was recently struck by Chi Chain, it will bounce up to 5 times. This ability homes in on target enemy champions marked with "Spirit Struck" This spell does not deal damage when returning to Ibara.

(Range: Veigar Ult range.)

Summary of E: Giving Ibara better teamfight potential, Jade Barrage is especially strong if you succesfully landed a Chi Chain and acquired a Jade Idol. In 1v1 duels however, not using Jade Barrage and letting it pulse out can dish more damage out due to the fact that Jade Barrage won't bounce.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Living Magnifier: Ibara becomes enlightened, allowing it to leave his body temporarily. He leaves his body behind while his Chi becomes a spiritual projection of hisbody and leaps swiftly to an enemy champion then takes up to 2 seconds to mark them, using them to focus his inner self. He jumps back after the two seconds or after selecting a direction to push the target a short distance. As long as Ibara stays within "X" range of the marked enemy champion, Ibara can reactivate to fire a powerful beam based on Ibara's max health and the marked champion's current health. The emerald beam damages enemies based on their max health and marks enemies with "Spirit Struck". The beam deals its damage over .75 seconds. The marked champion's health will be drained as a bleed based on how many champion's were hit by the beam and how much damage it did.

(Range: 3/4 Lux's ult, stops when hitting terrain.)

_Summary of Ult: A strong way to use escaping enemies as a way to clean up survivors, Living Magnifier can be used in the beginning of a fight for just as much use. Applying "Spirit Struck" will allow Ibara to use Jade Barrage much more effectively. _

LORE:

The Demon Ibara once ruled within the Spirit realm. A hellish beast, he brutal conquered and controlled those beneath him. But the day he set his eyes on other realms, the day he left the Spirit Realm behind, that was the last day he would see his home. Lost without his army in the world of mortals, Ibara was unable to return to his home and felt the pain of hunger, cruelty, and hate. During an encounter with an Ionian priestess, he understood his mistake. Yearning to redeem himself he traveled to the grand mountains of Ionia to focus his inner self. Still yet to learn about his purpose in this world, he wandered higher into the mountains to the icy tips that touched the Ionian sky. Once at the peak he vowed to never conquer another being until her conquered himself.

TDLR: Ibara was once a demon, left his Spirit Realm, now wishes to redeem himself.

First off, it sounds alot like the villain from the 3rd Kung Fu Panda movie xD

But... I like the idea of adding another "stacking into a juggernaut" champ similar to Nasus into the champion roster.

His ult should be upholding the training and suffering the champ has gone through all game to reach this point of power. The ult should finally be the moment of "Surpassing himself", encapsulating that idea, and only now... now he is focusing his strength directly on the enemy with true focus. Something like a reverse Illaoi E, where his body no longer holds him back and he has been truly enlightened. So having the ult's dash of him being a "astral projection" dashing to the target would be interesting, completely acknowledging his training and mental fortitude.
