What would you guys think about a champion who has an ability (or abilities) that directly influence the mana of either a target teammate or enemy? In other words, the champion has a built in clairvoyance/anti-clairvoyance. Would this be broken?
On self cast its balanceable - tf, kassadin, sivir, bard, chogath, jayce, xerath. Sorakas old E gave allies mana and it had no interactivity and was deemed unfit for the game. A full fledged mana drain ability like in dota would be worse than a silence because it prevents counterplay by taking the resource an enemy needs to fight back, which takes much longer to regenerate than waiting for a silence to wear off. The old wits end used to drain mana on hit and it was also deemed unfit for the game.
It sounds like old soraka :D and the old soraka was broken xD
