sion is actually really really good it's just not super hard to play around him.

thing is you HAVE to play around him or you die, and he gets really really tanky and if he hits even one ultimate whoever he hits is dead since it's a long knockup.

He is the hidden OP support though.

He has amazing synergy with most support items.
-- as HP is a Sion core stat as much as AD.
+ Strength of the Ages = Easy SotA/W stacks (about 450 HP).
As a Support you should be involved in significantly more fights than top lane, which allows his W passive to stack fast enough to compensate for any lack of CS (unless you fall miserably behind).
's shield active scales off of the user's Max HP. Sion has potentially infinite HP, but more realistically he has more HP than almost any other Support (the rare fed Tahm may be able to outdo him) and his FotM shield will be really powerful.
His constant HP stacking will allow him to be a meat wall against skillshots aimed at his ADC.
Gobs and gobs of CC. His kit has more CC than Braum (when used properly), an armor shred debuff, massive-ranged high-dmg harass, and a very powerful level 6 engage.

In solo lane Sion is currently a decent choice against Quinn , Vayne , Jhin , and Graves if he does not make bad trading decisions and will roll over them with easy when he finishes rushing item 3110 (from item 3024 ) . This is because of the reliability of his E for harass and farm despite the range of top lane ADCs. All of them (except graves ofc) are too squishy to survive a full engage even if Sion rushes tank items (which he should otherwise he wont survive their full engage).

There will be one week of picks and bans then it will all return back to normalcy due to an influx of players getting bored of playing with/against Sion
