4-legged bound champions, a new Infernal-like realm, and a cool way to introduce a Unicorn champion!
I've been thinking for awhile, and I believe we need more four-legged (non-void monster) champions. Hecarim seems to be the only one who stays true to what he's supposed to embody, well while still making him fun to play, which is a horse and their incredible speed. Even then though, I think it would be cool if they could work in a way to make him mirror a rearing horse kicking you more often into his kit. Or just make it so that he uses his powerful legs more often.
Anywho, the point of the title was because there is some LoL champions that represent the GoT family crests, but these symbols (lion, dragon, wolf, deer) having normally always been portayed as of four-legged animals/creatures, not as some lion who is somehow able to walk on his 2 legs. I say this because, in the same way that we will eventually be getting a different take on idea of a dragon champion with Ao Shin, it would be cool if we could also get different takes/versions of wolf and lion-based champions, as well as simply adding a deer-based champion.
Don't get me wrong, I love Rengar as a character, it's really cool how he represents the idea of a hunting, stalking lion. But lions are usually portrayed as in a pride of lions, in fact they're the only big cats to do this, live in groups, and I think it's something that needs to be just as represented as the hunting lion, even though that should've technically been the hunting 'lioness'. Because of this, it would make more sense to make the next supposed lion-related champion a four-legged male support champion (since the males were the ones who didn't do much of the hunting) who would somehow has his pride of lions implemented into his kit. You can even make him the brother of Renger, the noble lion king, (no pun intended) Koba, who valiantly leads his pride of lions, brother to the black sheep sibling of the family, Rengar.
Same thing goes Warwick, since he's the only wolf-related champion we have, though he gets a pass since he's suppose to embody a Werewolf. Nevertheless though, we could still use a four-legged wolf champion, or even better a direwolf champion. However, as opposed to having him related like in Rengar's case, this direwolf champion would be completely unrelated to Warwick. For this, using the idea of a lion pride/wolf pack in a different way, it would be really cool if they literally give you control of 3-4 direwolves, making it really feel like a wolf pack. I think the idea of using 4 champions works for direwolves/wolves because their packs would consist of adult killers, as oppose to lion prides which include their cubs.
And lastly (since we've already got confirmation of another dragon), the deer champion. Don't know much about deer's, but they've also have looked kind of creepy to me with their crazy-looking horns. Okay, I'll admit, that only just happened recently after watching season 1 of Hannibal and how they would show that crazy deer.
** On another note, though,** I think Riot should seriously be introducing new locations (The Void, Shadow Isles, Zaun, Ionia, Demacia, Noxus, etc). Like it would be cool if they would add a new plane akin to the Emerald Dream of WoW, in that it would be the realm where all nature-related beings inhabit. Also, if the idea of using 4 Direwolves as a champion wouldn't work, a realm akin to this could also be the platform to create a new wolf-related champion, who could be like a protector of that realm. Honestly they don't even have to technically create this world, they already have The Glade which is where Lulu's pixie comes from, if they were to rework her story for this world to not only just include fairies/pixies, but also druid-like beings, greenseers, maybe even a shaman-like character. It would also be, I think, a legitimately cool way in introducing a unicorn-based champion (not skin).
Another realm I think would be interesting to introduce, though probably more far-fetched, is an **infernal-based **realm. I say this because it can be the origin of many fire-related skins out now. Obviously the Infernal skins held right now by Mordekaiser, Alistar, and Nasus' beastly skin. But also other skin themes that I feel wouldn't fit as good anywhere else, such as the Scorched Earth skins, Warwick's Firefang skin, Demonblade, Rageborn, Dreadknight, Sanguine, Bloodstone, Sinful Succulence, Darkflame, Infernal, Forsaken, even Dark Valkyrie. Plus, there's the fact that we don't really have a four-legged dog champion, so it would be a great way of implementing like a hell hound champion (and the spiritual successor to Omen, perhaps?
It would also make sense given the fact that the several skins that many champions have are their take on that champion from a different nation/faction/realm. Aatrox has a Bilgewater-themed skin, there's voidborn skins that Fizz & Nocturne have, there's many champions that have Freljord-themed skins (Arctic Ops, Winter Wonder), Shurima-themed skins (Sandstorm, Guardians of the Sand, Pharaoh ), Shadow Isles-themed skins (Underworld, Zombie, any Ghost-related skin, Pentakill), Demacia-themed skins (Warden, Commando, Royal Guard), Noxus-themed skins (Tyrant, Crimson Elite, Marauder), Zaun (Battlecast, Hextech, Mad Scientist), Piltover (Steel Legion, Secret Agent, Mafia) and I think there's the most Ionia-themed skins (Nightblade, Dragonblade, Warring Kingdoms, Order of the Lotus, Bloodmoon, Justicar)
