So just a small little detail I would like to see on the samsung twitch skin is that when he has his stacks of poison they would be the Samsung Logo I think that it would be awesome and would really help to show it is a samsung skin.

Hey TFS Darth Grater!

The reason this wasn't changed was due to gameplay clarity.

Awe bummer I appreciate the feedback it just seems like it hard to really see any samsung logos on these skins and i just would love to see a chance to really bring that out. these skins must have been difficult to make because of the color scheme that they have so they look kind of unoriginal and very bland which sucks but again it comes back to the colors of samsung not you guys.

second time already when you don't do nice things because "clarity" : x

It's not that we're saying no because we don't want to do these things, it's because of gameplay concerns.

We had a similar discussion when Challenger Ahri came out - players wanted different colored spells, but we couldn't change the color itself due to gameplay readability. I personally would be pretty upset if I was used to a pink Ahri charm, and then in a team fight, I don't see it because it's a different color and didn't read as a charm, and I end up ignoring it, getting charmed, and dying.

Because it's so hard to make out a floating heart... you guys could always retain outlines in the appropriate color, you know.

Like with the new Syndra skin we all want to be diamond-shaped & red.

Just make it magenta on the inside & purple tinted on the edges.

Why would you ignore anything that Ahri throws at you? Like, that doesn't sound like 'I was confused by the colors' that sounds like 'OMG RITO WTF IT'S NOT MY FAULT I SUCK'.

>_>

I personally see shape as far more important than color. tbh, I don't care if ahri charm is pink, blue, red indigo, or puce, as long as I see that crafty fox shooting a heart my direction I know I need to get outta dodge asap.

also, with ahri's Q, what's wrong with just making her orb get a glow-y aura when her passive is up instead of changing to green? Personally that'd read a lot more clearly that a simple color change that prevents her from having cool looking Q's on her skins.

The reason the orb isn't changed when her passive is up is due to not only Ahri knowing if she's going to heal when the orb returns, but also her enemies. It could mean the difference between securing a kill, or Ahri getting away at super low health. We want it to be super clear in this case, and while a glow would have similar gameplay implications, we think the color difference is an easier read.

Not to be one of the bashers but that is just so stupid...

The vast majority of new skins have different particles. Arclight Varus's Q looks and sounds nothing like the majority of his skins, yet people still know 'try to dodge it' Plus the Soulstealer Vlad ult in the updated SR having an invisible ult...

Personally I find it really hard to see Justicar Syndras orbs in Aram (just played her there) since they are yellow/transparent on a white background.

Point is there are much more blatant skill changes that can be a lot more potent than Max stacks on Twitch. And if you're talking about people not thinking its a poison, PLEASE!!!?!

In regards to the Soulstealer Vlad ultimate - we're looking to get that fixed for next patch.

You're right, there are new particles for a lot of skins, and there's a lot of skills we can change. There are some skills that are heavy as far as gameplay implications that we cannot change for the sake of clarity. Another example of this would be Kayle's ultimate.

Hellioning2 votes

But you changed Zilean's ultimate particles. That seems about as important, if not more.

Honestly, I think my primary confusion is that every particle has 'heavy gameplay implications' and which ones you refuse to change seem arbitrary.

+1 super cool idea, hope Riot does a little fan service here for once.
