Is it possible to starting seeing a blind pick in a best of 5 series? I mean if they make it to game 5 I think there should be no reason that any team can't play their best champs so we can see each team to their full potential. I think this would really be fun to watch and I know that OGN does this already and it is a great concept and I would love to see this happen in the LCS.

Angry Monster1 votesHe was dsiabled in LCS for almost a year. Just today we got a hot fix for champs that were not working right. Were they disabled? Were people notified? Nope. Riot just pretends nothing is wrong.

I really feel mirror match ups are something you can barely prepare for.
If anything, a 5'th round with no bans, but the team who has the fastest of their two wins gets to decide if they want blue side, or first pick.
This leaves every champion in the pool, and maintains the pre-game of champion select.

Earl Eulrich1 votesWhile I really enjoy the blindpick-matches in OGN I think they´re not really a good format to decide competitive-games as they´re kinda luck-based if you try anything odd...so it always ends up being the same jack-of-all-trades-comps to make sure you don´t get counterpicked by chance. The pick&ban-phase is incredible important in competitive-games, and a huge part of a teams skill already...i don´t think it´s good to leave it completely out in a deciding match.

Earl Eulrich1 votesthat´s a missconception. Noone plays their "best" champ in blindpick...people play what is the savest option currently. Often leading to mirror-matches. currently Mao top is 100%pick in blind, same for Lee jungle. For mid it´s mostly Yasuo and bot is pretty much tris or Kog...or some random corki as he´s a save lanebully vs anything. No personal touch at all.

Earl Eulrich1 votesmirrors are never won 1v1, if a team gets a lead due to better junglepressence or rotations it just snowballs through and that´s it. A good example would be the OGN-final this summer...Dade, without a doubt the best Yasuo player in Korea, lost to Rookie (by no means a bad player, but it clearly snowballed from KTA roaming a lot better early on, not from individual plays)...
Blindpick is somewhat exciting, mostly because it´s different...but it´s surely not really competitive.
Pixel Bukkake1 votesDade showed he was the better yasuo player when he won the 1v1 against him when he was half an item behind Rookie and even though Dade was exhausted and also rookie got fed through bad positioning of SSB and better rotations as you said. but it really shows how much of a difference build order makes on a champ though and who can really maximize their champ dmg output most effectively.
