Hello everyone, this is an update to an older post i made here

So what are Custom announcers? You know the voice that announces in-game events such as "You have slain an enemy" or "You have been slain"? They are compiled sound files that change the narrator for league.

I have created several Custom announcer packs. These are a Duke Nukem pack, Quake announcer pack, and a Cartoon fx announcer pack. Google drive download link Below are some instructions on how to install. (Note: I am not familiar with Mac os so if there are any problems you run into as a mac user please leave me a comment and i will try to help you out :)

  1. Close your client, if its open. Now open up your Riot Games installation folder. (For most it will be under (C:) drive look for Riot Games)

  2. Go to this file location "C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_game_client_en_us\managedfiles\0.0.1.51\DATA\Sounds\Wwise\VO\en_US\Shared" (Note: This location is for NA client, other regions do a file search for the .wpk file i will list below and you will find it)

  3. Now look for 2 files called "Announcer_Global_Female1_VO_audio.wpk" and "Announcer_LookToTheStars_VO_audio.wpk" It is important that you Copy these files to your desktop or to another file location of your choice in case you want to restore the original announcers.

  4. Paste the custom announcer pack of your choice in the folder, twice

  5. Rename the two custom announcer files to "Announcer_Global_Female1_VO_audio.wpk" and "Announcer_LookToTheStars_VO_audio.wpk"

I really hope you guys enjoy these they took a while to make. I will be uploading some youtube videos that showcase some of the soundpacks that i made and i'll link them on this thread once i'm done. Happy summoning :)
