I find more joy in reading about and discussing other people's opinions about OP champions, dynamic que, and chinese splash arts, rather than actually playing the game. Am I the only one that has been transformed into a boards ogre this 2016 season?

Yup, same. I play league maybe like 3 hours a week, barely.
Whatever you do, don't make a habit of using boards on your phone. You will drain your life away.

I'm one more stupid fame changer away from quitting. This game is bullshit. I love losing in champion select. I thought when I got into gold I would be away from the troll picks and the stupidity but no. Rank means nothing unless your higher I guess. On top of the fact that games are only about 25 mins long that doesn't give me personally enough time to actually carry my team to maybe get to higher ranks. The only possible game changing position I see is mid or jungle

No, I am completely in the same boat. Riot fucked the game and I am mostly on the boards to see people who get over 2k Upvotes say that the game is broken. Yet nothing is being done about it lol. Personally I think riot it trying to kill its player base atm so that when they make a new game it will transfer over to the new game xD
My time with League related things:
60%) Reading guides, builds, and Champion statistics 20%) Watching Challenger/Diamond games 15%) On the boards 5%) Actually playing League of Legends
I play maybe 1 game every few days. A Bot game. Because a guaranteed victory vs an incompetent enemy is more enjoyable than playing the actual game.
Though the good news is I've finally gotten around to playing the hundreds of other games I own but never finished. So there's that.

Especially with the 4 man tower dive bot strats in every game.
I can't remember the last time I have actually queued up for a game honestly. The game has just gotten that annoying. I browse the forums in hopes that Riot will bring back TB or something remotely fun and exciting for the casual gamer. But, I'm not sure if I'll ever come back now that I've been playing SMITE and having a grand time, and the ONLY reason I even attempted to try it was from serious boredom and frustration with League.
I've played casually in SMITE for around 2-3 weeks and nearly 30 already, unlocked ALL the gods for $15, got all kinds of free skins, got quite a bit of free gems (like RP in League), there's like 7 different game modes with a daily Mode Of The Day, you can get a First Win Of The Day in each game mode which makes leveling seem quite fun and constantly changes the pace, the tutorial is thorough and very informative. Honestly, to me, SMITE is more my kind of game anyways. I'm glad Riot dropped the ball this season, I probably never would of touched SMITE and even if they did fix the game I wouldn't come back anywhere near as much I as used to.
Once solo queue was gone for ranked yup, spend more time on the boards reading than i do playing.
PB&M is hilarious. QQ threads are annoying and hilarious at same time. What's not to love?

I read the boards like it's the daily newspaper with jokes(laughing fish, raptorkarr etc.), helpful tips(Nami), Heavy metal(you-know-who) and weekly stories(lightdragoon88)
Same, it's come to the point where I just do a bot game a day for my First win.
True story. When I do play it's almost always some toxic premade so I end up dodging and not playing.
Yeah, but the only reason is due to the fact that I'm busy and I can't play as much as I used to.
I play to get my ARAM win for the day (now usually just 1 game) and then come to the boards to complain about how unfun it is because of the ridiculous damage, snowballing, and paper mache towers.
Check the boards daily; cannot remember the last time I played a match.
I read this after posting my own discussion and i feel like it could get addicting. i doubt trolls want to go and read other people. im sure there are but you cant just block it out easy. way more friendly
