What about to make something like a "royal" summoner icon which would be permanently aviable in shop and cost like 100 000 IP? Or make more of them and give a chance to upgrade them?
How 'bout that? You would just see someone with that icon and would be like "Oh shit he must be rich!"
I'd like to see the skins which are on sale be available for IP purchase. I'm even OK with making the equivalent cost in IP absurdly high - let's say something like 20k IP for a 500 RP skin.
Riot needs to realize that if people have nothing else to spend their IP on, they've done one of two things:
If this is limited to the skins which are on sale only, it still encourages people to use RP on the ones they really want right now.
With random champion shards, it's a good thing for IP rich players to spend for level ups, instead of wasting it on hextech chest.
Riot should make a Donate IP section, where IP rich players can donate their IP to the less fortunate.
How about make it so players can buy keys/key fragments with IP
