James Volta

James was a communications expert in the Demacian army. One day during a practice drill, he was setting up a communications tower high in the mountains and was struck by lightning. The lightning had been caused by void energy leaking into the mountain after the Demacian government had conducted research into restricted weapons technologies. The lightning ripped his soul out of his body and turned him into an elemental spirit.

Static Shock

James gathers static electricity by moving and using skills. When he shocks an enemy, he deals magic damage equal to his level (+0.1 AP) and applies a magnetic debuff that slows movement speed and attack speed by a percentage equal to his level. James automatically shocks the nearest enemy within 250 range once every second. James doesn't have a basic attack.

Void Well

James throws an elemental lightning seed on the ground. All enemies within 500 range of the seed take static shock damage and their movement is slowed by 10% for every second they remain within range of the seed. After 5 seconds, every enemy hit takes the sum total of damage dealt by that use of the skill (+0.25 AP).

Conductivity

Casting conductivity on allies provides them with a shield equal to 20% (+0.8 AP) of James' maximum mana. While conductive, allies take 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 % more damage from physical attacks and 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20 % less magic damage. Attack speed is also increased by 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 15 % while shielded. James can target himself.

Comm Tower

Construct a tower on a wall that gives 1500 range of vision. Tower lasts 10 minutes. Tower can be stolen by the other team (channel for 3 seconds). The tower allows for James to teleport to another tower under your team's control (1 second channel). Maximum number of towers is 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6, and the oldest tower falls apart if a new tower is placed beyond the limit.

Electromagnetic Pulse

James gathers electricity before detonating a large EMP in the area around himself. The emp deals 100 / 200 / 300 (+0.4 AP) magic damage and knocks out communications for those affected (text chat, voice chat, pings and shared line of sight is lost) for 5 / 8 / 11 seconds.
