Nael, the Escape Artist (A.K.A. the Master of "Nope")
Just a little joke champion I came up with (or, at least, started as a joke). Rather than being set to kill an opponent or help others kill an opponent, his abilities are mainly meant to get himself (and sometimes others) out of tough spots and just destroying enemy structures as fast as possible so he can get himself out of the battle A.S.A.P. He can still be a tough opponent depending on the situation, and especially in a team fight, but his main plan when he's expected to fight is to either disappear or slow the enemy down, and then run for his life. Numbers will most likely need some adjustment.
Nael, the Escape Artist (a.k.a. the Master of "Nope")
Roles: Support, fighter, jungler (?), assassin (?)
Stats:
Health: 550 (+67 per level) Health Regen: 9 (+0.7 per level) Mana: 275 (+53 per level) Mana Regen: 6.3 (+0.7 per level) Attack Damage: 60 (+2.2 per level) Attack Speed: 0.637 (+3.1% per level) Attack Range: 175 units Armor: 26 (+2.6 per level) Magic Resist: 25 (+0) Movement Speed: 355
Passive: Focus on the Mission, Don’t Get Caught…
Nael’s only objective is to win; he doesn’t care about killing, never has. He only wants to win as fast as possible, so his only goal is to destroy towers and other structures to ensure victory. As a result, if one of these structures is in sight, he makes a mad dash for it. However, his other motive is staying alive, and he knows he’s not the strongest champion anyone has ever seen, so instead he chooses to hide as best he can in forests and against rocks, making sure to camouflage himself and close his eyes so enemies can’t see him. Nael’s movement speed when moving towards structures is increased 50%, and his attack speed is increased 20% when attacking enemy structures. If Nael stands still within 150 units of a wall and outside of enemy sight for 1 second, he will become stealthed. While stealthed in this way, he is also blinded as he closes his eyes. In place of vision, he gains Tremor Sense. Left-clicking while stealthed in this way will give Nael his vision back, but if an enemy is within 300 units of Nael and either Nael is not in bushes or both he and the enemy are in bushes, there will be a 50%he will be revealed. Nael becomes un-stealthed if he moves. Nael’s first basic attack made while stealthed and his next basic attack within 1 second of becoming unstealthed will deal 10% increased physical damage and slow the target 30% for 2 seconds. Nael’s movement speed is increased by 10% for the first 2 seconds after becoming unstealthed (not including bushes).
Q: Low Blow
Nael is by no means a man of honor, and when he’s in a tight spot he’ll do whatever he needs to so he can get away, even playing dirty and using cheap shots with people who just won’t let him go. Nael aims for his enemy’s softer underparts, dealing 20% increased physical damage and slowing the target’s movement speed by 10%/15%/20%/25%/30% (not stacking) for 2 seconds, refreshing with each basic attack. If an enemy is hit with 5 basic attacks while this is active, they are rooted for 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds, refreshing with each basic attack afterwards; if Nael uses 10 total basic attacks on the target while this is active, the target is stunned for 0.75/1/1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds. This cannot be refreshed by basic attacks, and after this the target is immune to the effects of Low Blow (including the damage increase) for 10 seconds. This ability lasts 5/5.5/6/6.5/7 seconds. Cooldown: 12 seconds Cost: 50 Mana
W: Invisibility Potion
Nael developed a special invisibility potion to aid in his escapes, and he has not forgotten the recipe. Unfortunately, the materials that he is allowed access to can only create a heavily diluted form of the potion, but he’s slowly working on scavenging the materials he needs. He’d love for it to help his allies in their fights, but unfortunately he’s one of few people that knows how to move without being noticed, most other people giving themselves away by moving too awkwardly and creating distorted areas in the air that reveal their positions. Nael throws an invisibility potion on the ground at a target location up to 400 units away, creating a vapor in a circular 200-unit-diameter area that lasts for 3 seconds. Allied champions that move through this vapor are given invisibility for 2/2.75/3.5/4.25/5 seconds. Allied champions other than Nael lose this invisibility in 1 second if they attack or use abilities on their opponents. Nael is revealed if he attacks the same opponent 3 times. The cooldown starts after the vapor disappears. Cooldown: 10 seconds Cost: 90 Mana
E: Climb
Nael has found that going around walls takes too much time, especially when he’s on the run, so he’s learned to climb over walls to get away faster. He’s also learned to take advantage of the element of surprise while he’s on these walls, beating unsuspecting cops and other enemies senseless before they even know he’s there and then making a run for it while they’re out cold. Nael climbs a target wall, walking on it rather than the main path. He can jump from one wall to another wall within 400 units if the walls don’t connect at some point. Nael can click on a normal path to jump down and walk on it. If Nael targets an enemy within 300 units of the wall he’s climbing on, he can leap down on them, dealing 10%/15%/20%/25%/30% increased physical damage to an enemy champion or 20%/25%/30%/35%/40% increased physical damage to enemy monsters/minions, and slowing their movement speed 5%/7%/9%/11%/13% for 3 seconds. While Nael is on a wall, nearby enemies can see him on their screen but not on their maps. Nearby enemies can target Nael for a basic attack to hit the wall where he’s standing and knock him down. If an enemy does this, Nael’s movement speed and attack speed are slowed 10% for 3 seconds. Cooldown: 10 seconds after Nael exits the trees. Cost: 80 Mana
R: Smokescreen
Nael’s a big fan of the classic getaway methods, and what could be more classic than a smokescreen? (Okay, maybe a cool car, but his warden won’t buy the one he wants, and what’s the point if there’s no flare?) Nael’s learned that blinded enemies tend to drop their guards on account of not knowing where their guards should be held, so he uses his smokescreens whenever he has an opponent that he just can’t seem to get close to (or, more often, around). However, he knows he doesn’t have much time with this, so he tries to make the most of it, either sprinting as far as he can or hitting his opponent as many times as he can as fast as he can if he knows he can’t get away by running. Nael throws a smoke bomb on the ground at his location, creating a smokescreen that expands to cover everything within a 1000-unit radius over the course of 2 seconds. Enemies within the smokescreen are blinded, and their armor is reduced by 20%/35%/50%. Nael’s movement speed and attack speed are both increased by 20%/30%/40% while he is in the smokescreen. The smokescreen lasts 3/4/5 seconds. Cooldown: 180 seconds Cost: 100 Mana
Might add a lore later. For now taking suggestions on number adjustments and alternative abilities.
