Akali Rework Concept
As Riot already announced Akali rework and how they want to make her Shroud ability her basic mechanic, I've come with some ideas. My goal is to keep her "dashy" style of gameplay by combining it with what would be her new Shroud mechanic.
Passive: Immediately after revealing herself to enemies or entering combat, she gains a burst of movement speed equal to 30% of her current movement speed while empowering her next 2 basic attacks. First attack deals bonus magical damage based on the current health of the enemy and the second one deals bonus physical damage based on the missing health of the enemy.
It works with Shroud too, leaving the shroud after at least 3 seconds activates your passive.
Completely removed any trace of healing in her passive, because that (IMO) was what gave Akali so many balance problems over the years. Totally keeping the healings but in other circumstances, like her Q.
Q: Basically her Q becomes a skill-shot that does way more damage than currently and empowers her next attack on the marked victim. If Akali attacks the marked victim she deals bonus damage and heals herself based on her missing health. Cooldown is drastically bigger, but if she manages to activate the mark, the cooldown is refunded by 70% and costs less energy.
I want to make her more energy-reliant, so no more energy refund upon activating the mark.
W: There comes the fun part. Akali throws a smoke grenade at a fixed range, like 450 units. The smoke area is way smaller (like 30% bigger than the Graves grenade) and it slows the enemies that pass through it while also reducing their vision area. Akali has bonus movement speed while moving towards the smoke. It stays around 10 seconds. The W now has 3 stacks, just like her current ult. Every stack charges in around 13 seconds.
E: I currently have no idea of what her E can be, but certainly now her actual E. It is, probably, the most useless and, at the same time, broken ability of her.
R: Kinda the same thing, but no more stacks. Now her ult uses energy and has a cooldown at around 10 seconds at maximum levels. The thing about it is that you can use it to dash to smoking areas without any cost and a cooldown of 2 seconds.
So you can place 3 smoke grenades and dash like crazy between them. I can imagine how much gameplay opportunities this would have.
So, that was about it. I really do expect on her future rework something that combines her ult and smoke grenades, kinda like I think here. Ty for reading and nice day :P
