I was just thinking that it would be really cool if Riot held champion making contests. You'd have to create at least a framework for lore, visuals, abilities, etc. to enter, and the winner gets their chamo made. Top 50 get some rp and maybe top 5 get the new champ for free or something. Just a thought I had when scrolling through forums and seeing some interesting champ suggestions, skins, and fan art.
There is one reason and one reason only why this will more than likely NOT happen, and it is two words: Vote Manipulation, if a contest like this was to be held dollars to donuts says the winner will be the one that is most liked by the players. And that is tricky to pull off because we are using a reddit upvote/downvote system, so as such people who entered will just end downvoting the others so their get more view traffic/get multiple accounts (either ones they've made or from friends that aren't gonna bother to enter) upvote their idea/downvote others so they get more attention. And if it's like an actual vote based on something like a poll and not by Reddit system then the manipulation can still occur using the latter option in how to manipulate the Reddit System by having friends upvote their idea.
And before you ask "then why won't Riot do the judge system then?", it very simple, because it matters if riot were to do it. With the CCOS there is no reward large enough that everyone wants to win it, and everyone who does enter already wins attention on their concepts, which leaves everyone satisfied. But imagine how much anger, how much hatred, how much whining will occur if a concept that they wanted didn't make it/a concept they despised won, and now they will have to wait a whole year or some extended length of time to try again? It just too much salt for a community that has their fair share of toxic people in it.
I agree I've been dying to submit some skin ideas to Riot. One of them being Blood Moon Diana. Seriously, how have they not made that yet?

I have an idea for a new champion actually. (i dont have a name so its up to riot) okay so i was thinking maybe add a new wind blade master and the way he works is he uses 2 daggers and using his ult he can switch into like a sword kinda deal kinda like how riven can extend her blade with ult but make it so he puts his daggers together. His Q could be something that can maybe shoot out a burst of wind in one direction as a skill shot. W could be like he gets a buff that has a 3 trigger mark like vayne and gnar and once he hits 3 he will rip through minions and champions within the range of the blow dealing dmg. His E could be a win style jump that thrusts him in the same direction as the mouse and kills and assist reset its cooldown. and his R(ult) will be the wind transformation when he threads his 2 daggers together with wind to form a sword and he gets a movement speed buff and added attack dmg but -10% crit chance. i havnt come up with a passive but maybe riot will have fun with this idea of a champion. i know i would. lucio
