By "Diverse" i mean 1. Can they work multiple roles (Mostly Mid Or Top) but like 
i would love to be able to play 2-3 roles EFFECTIVELY
2. Are they not played often EX: Karma

Fiora can probably top/mid/jungle OK.
I definitely prefer Jarvan, myself. That guy can do anything.
Darius, Cho'Gath, Jax, Hecarim, and Olaf can all do both top lane and jungle. Their matchups are a little more hit and miss than the more meta picks, but they all work and do their job well in the right hands.
Tryndamere can top, mid and jungle.
Melee champs stink. J4 can top lane. Don't listen to that talk of Darius, Cho, Olaf, etc.
If you don't see it being played often its not that its a secret strat, its because its not good
