(Champion Concept) Gianna The Slave Princess of Whips

I noticed that there are no champions in LoL fighting whith whips so here is what I came up with! Lore: Gianna was born in one of the riches families of her Island. An island in which slavery, discrimination and violence were practiced against creatures of all kind who were low in the hierarchy of society. And Gianna born a princes was raised by her father to feel supperior to the the slaves under their command, to be cruel to them and beat them to death for disobeying her with the wepon which her father put in her hand: The Whip. In this enviroment she grew and she never questioned her father's word. Ships often came carrying slaves for sale to the rich masters and one day her eyes fell on a man, tall, dark and handsome with a muscular body. She noticed something in his eyes, she did not know what, but she was immediately attracted to the man so she bought him. The man proved to be a good worked, very strong and very wise for his age. He often would say things to Gianna which would make her question her way of life her cruelty and the cruelty of her father and she would find herself often thinking of her new slave slowly beginning to fall in love with him. She started to be more gentle with the slaves, started talking to them and started to understand how much they were suffering. Her father noticed the change in he behavior ordered her to be constanly watched and when her follower found her one night secretly meeting with one of the slaved hugging and kissing him, her father ordered the slave to be hanged and Gianna to be whipped until she would fall unconscious from the paint. Tasting the whip herself she at once knew what pain she was causing others all her life. As she screamed with paint she watched her beloved being killed before she passed out. She awakened in a cell her whole body in unbearable pain. When her father came to see her she promiced that she understood her mistake and would never again betray him. She was released but she was never the same. She took the slaves as her allies and she led them to fight against her father and his men swearing never again to use her whip on an innocent man. She was fierce in battle and she managed to defeat her father and lead a revolution along the whole island killing the masters and freeing the slaves. Now she lives in hatred of all who abuse the weak and punishes them mercilessly. (I don't know much about the league of legends world so I write in general terms.) (I realized this might be too heavy but thats how my mind works... :P) Abilities: **Passive:**Gianna's basic attacks cause her enemies to feel excruciating pain dealing true damage over second to them. Q Bounded and whiped: Gianna flings one of her whips foreward towards the cursors location and it wraps itself around the first enemy in hits slowing them for 2 seconds. If she stays in range after 2 second she will root the enemy in place and hit it three times with her whip or by pressing Q again during the two seconds she will pull her whip and bring the enemy champion if melle range. W Adaptable Warrior: Giannas whips can retract in their handles.She will then attack with the blades on the handles instead allowing her to become a melee basic attacker. By pressing W she can switch to melee mode having greately increased attack speed but loosing her passive bonus-true damage over second. E (Can't come up with a name) Ginna flings her whips foreward towards the cursors location. If they hit a minion or a monster they wrap themselves around it, rooting it in place.(Gianna can't attack or cast spells during that time) You have a second to decide where you want to throw it and by pressing E again you will pull it in the air and towards the cursors location. On inmact with enemy minions monster or champions it does damage in an area of efect around the impact zone. If her whips hit train she will pull herself towards it. R Mistress of Whips: Every fifth basic atatck gianna will deal double her normal damage (In either mode of fighting). Dealing a critical strike on the fifth basic attack will double its damage. Actively Gianna spins her whips around her head creating a circle around her as big as her maximum attack range. Any enemies caught in the circle will take damage. Gianna is umune to all cc during that time. Appearance: This is how I imagine Gianna. I did this illustration today but I'm not very good at shading and coloring so if any of you guys can please do and post in in the comments. Mkay so you have a champion....with a lot of potential damage. Im going to try and point some things out that you could fix to better her a bit.

On her passive, a mechanic like you are describing would be an unfair advantage as she could easily adapt to any fighting scenario, ranged melee is very tricky as you have to keep it balanced. And if her passive offers an attack speed bolster in melee range she loses all give and take and becomes very threatening at every point. Maybe create a new passive that every attack she lands gives her a stack of attacks speed and upon reaching X amount of stacks she unrolls her whips gaining increased attack range, or something along those line.

Her Q is very hard to understand...you could simply rework it to where she would snare an enemy and then on activation dash to them dealing secondary damage. Scratch the shield idea as that would be quite strange for a carry/jungler to have.

Her W could be her next auto attack is enhanced where she extends her whip and cracks it against a target enemy dealing bonus physical damage (+% missing health damage [keep this smallish]) and applying a slow so that way she could close the gap with and get in that melee range.

This is kind of similar to Syndra in a way, however if you reworked it to where perhaps she spun around and on a low cooldown dealt slightly lower physical damage to units around her that could synergize well with her gap close (that is if you give her one).

This is where you could implement the triple whack from her Q. Make it to where she constricts the enemy with one whip, and if the enemy is successfully hit with the whip, she will strike them 3 times dealing physical each time!

Mkay it's better but her true damage on her passive needs removed unless it stacks up to true damage. Irelia is an example of a true damage passive and how threatening it actually can be, and Giana is ranged somewhat so there is that unfair advantage. I'd say just make it deal miniscule true damage each hit or deal bonus physical damage that scales with her ult.= in level.
