Better Nerf Irelia

I've been playing League since 2010. And the "better nerf Irelia" joke has always been around and probably will stick around! So why not just make a "Nerfed Irelia" skin?

Anyway, I am not a graphic design artist. I just whipped this up (horribly) to relay my idea.

Her primary weapons becomes 4 nerf bats with a nerf ball at the center Transcendent Blades (ult) are Nerf Footballs And the "Mantle of Decorum" (the thingy that's always floating behind her head) is a Nerf Target Board. I found it humorous, hopefully ya'll like the idea :)

Riot do this, yes I know copy rights and all that, just make a deal with nerf to promote their items ingame (via the skin) or something or offer small amount of sales on it idk, but it be worth it

Riot has "tiptoed" around copywrites before (king rammus, chosen master yi, Annie in Wonderland, etc). I was thinking of ways around this one before and thought they could change "nerf" to "Rito" or "Riot" on all the weapons. BUT OMG I just had an amazing idea! What if they spelt it "nUrf" like League's famous Urf the Manatee!!!

or they could just literally make her weapons useless items. Like her transcendent blades can be brooms and mops and her hand weapon could be a plate. The splash art can be a confused and helpless looking irelia.

True that. There's also blatant ones: Deadly and Swamp Kennen (Deadpool and Yoda), Frozen and Stinger Shen (Sub-Zero and Scorpion from Mortal Kombat)

Also one thing: Alice in Wonderland is in the Public Domain, and has been there since 1907, no copyright issue there

I thought there'd be at least a royalty fee associated with Alice in Wonderland. Good to know, thanks :) Also: iBlitzcrank (I heard a few years ago, Apple tried to copyright putting a little "i" at the beginning of things, but got denied lol) Veigar Graybeard's splash-art

iBlitzcrank was made to correspond with the Mac release of League, which is owned by Apple. So I'm fairly confident they got permission for that one.

The amount of times Kha'zix has been nerfed completely dwarfs Irelia, for those who actually look it up. Never understood the "Better Nerf Irelia" joke, to be honest. She's only been nerfed like 4 times, ever, and none of them were exactly "crippling", even back then.

Whining aside, I do think it's a funny skin idea. I just think it should be a line of skins, seeing as the "Better Nerf Irelia" joke never made sense to begin with lol

The joke is that when she was first nerfed, she was nerfed constantly for the next few patches when there was really no reason for it and there were bigger targets out there. It doesn't really have anything to do with how many times she was nerfed.

It was more like "Oh lee is dominating high elo games and has a 60% win rate? Well, better nerf Irelia!" Which is what used to happen.

Bigger targets, but she was still a big target. I mean she needed those nerfs when she got them, even with bigger problems happening. She was just more popular then so more people complained about her getting nerfed.

Also, the "Lee is dominating, let's nerf everything BUT Lee" never stopped, and has applied to every jungler who was ever on his level since his release lol

Well, at least it'll highlight how mob mentality and failure to research affects this community. I guess it shows a general lack of education overall.
