The noble and benevolent Queen Ashe once guided the people of the Freljord with a firm yet gentle hand. The course of history was forever changed, however, when her once warm and passionate heart was corrupted by the icy touch of the Frozen Watchers. Now her armies sweep across the tundra like the blizzard wind, seeking to swell the forces of her Iceborn horde that all of Runeterra might someday feel the Watchers’ wrath.

Hey everyone! Took some time yesterday to throw together a quick Blackfrost Ashe concept! Inspired by a dream I had the other night where I was playing Support Liss to a Blackfrost Ashe in an all Freljord team while Ice seeped out of our Nexus and slowly froze the entire map! This one came together pretty quickly so I didn't come up with many design variations but I'd like to revisit it and polish it up a bit sometime soon. Let me know what you guys think!

EDIT: Tattered the cape up because some of you guys said it was too reminiscent of Talon! I was trying to create a thematic tie with the fabric trailing behind Blackfrost Anivia but I can definitely see why it reminded you guys of Talon.

Looks fantastic, The one problem I foresee is making it look significantly different from Marauder, which would be difficult.

Considering how it could have some lore to it, I'd like this. This could be Ashe corrupted by Lissandra and turned iceborn

i think the colors are a little reminiscent of amethyst ashe but without the gold undertones

but otherwise gorgeous as always :D

(that nexus ice thing sounds soooo cool)

It looks really good but i don't think it's distinct enough from marauder. In game it would look very similar in style.

(honestly like this better than marauder, but it just doesn't feel special enough since we have marauder)

yaaAAAASSSSSS. Ashe is the only Freljord lady without a skin of this type and you did a great job with this concept.

I remember coming up with this initial concept on the old forums way back when, along with Blackfrost Sejuani.

It looks kinda plain, and I feel a lot of Ashe's skins are empty, to make this work, it would have to include animations, like the ult being a Sparkly Black Arrow

Oh yes! They should TOTALLY have another Freljord event, where Lissandra's Frostguard totally whoops the opposition and turns Ashe & Sejuani into Blackfrost. A defeated ragtag gang of Avarosas and Frost Claws then have to find a way to save their leaders from the Ice Witch!

They should make a black frost skin for her, and lissandra, and also maybe Sej, and if they were all legendary it would be a really nice skin line, that are also all linked by lore.
