Definition of Requital: To repay, reward, or punish in exchange for a kindness or a wrong. Putting this here for those that might not have known. :] Definition of Twilight: State of obscurity, ambiquity, or gradual decline. Also the light you see when the sun is below the horizon, before you actually see it.

Also for those who might not guess, I'm posting this as an answer to an earlier thread for an energy and ninja ADC. His weapon will be the kusarigama, more commonly known in English as the chain-sickle. An image can be found here. I know this is extremely similar to Thresh's weapon, but I wanted to go for something that isn't so common or obvious as the bow, and certainly not a gun of any type. Sure, blowgun was an option, but... come on. Do you really wanna see the blowgun and be reminded of the evil little devil known as Teemo?

If you can think of any titles to better fit the theme of the other good ninjas (Heart of the Tempest, Fist of Shadow, Eye of Twilight) I'd be happy to hear. I spent probably a good half hour trying to think of ways to use actual body parts in the title as those three did, but all I could come up with that wouldn't sound too comical was ear or foot. Foot implies close-quarters though, which might be a bruiser, which is not what I wanted this to be. Ear could work, but I have yet to find a physical manifestation through which it could be implied that would imply ranged attacker. Fist of Shadow implies melee assassin, Heart of Tempest implies mage in the center, Eye of Twilight implies a watchful defender whose light you may see before he actually gets there. All make sense thematically, as Akali will strike from stealth or brush, that's what assassins do. Kennen is in the center of his own storm. You see Shen's ultimate before you see him and he obscures his ally from damage (I literally found no better ways to say this). However, this is me just being picky though. I want him to fit thematically with the others so bad, I'm probably way over thinking this. The title I have is probably good, but I'm really picky about matching themes. >.>' Now, on to the concept!

Stats- Health: 360+82 per level Health Regen: 4.5+.55 per level Energy: 200 Energy Regen: 50 Range: 450 Damage: 47.5+3.5 per level Attack Speed: .685+2.5% per level Armor: 24+3.5 per level Magic resistance: 30 Movement Speed: 340

Abilities:

Passive: Requital Mastery- Xuen has mastered the lessons of repayment, be it reward or retaliation. -When affected by a friendly spell effect, his next 2/3/4/5 basic attacks heal his nearest ally for 15% (+50% of Total Lifesteal) of the damage done. [7 second cooldown] -When damaged by an enemy champion's basic attack or damaging spell, his next 2/3/4/5 basic attacks deal an additional 15% (+1% per 70 Total Attack Damage) damage. [7 second cooldown] Side Notes?: Upgrades at 5/9/13. Each effect runs on a separate cooldown. This allows for his use of Requital Mastery to be at full effectiveness. Cooldowns start after the last attack has been made, not after gaining the effect. These effects are not set off by the additional bolts from Runaan's Hurricane item. The effect lasts 3 seconds, and refreshes each time an attack is made. Example: After gaining the friendly requital effect, he may have 3 attacks to do in 3 seconds. At 1 second left, he makes his attack and the number of attacks left is 2, but his duration goes back to 3 seconds. Friendly requital scales on Lifesteal as well, but only 50% of it. If you have 10% Lifesteal, the total heal will be 20% of your basic attack damage done instead of 15%, since half of 10% is 5%. Do not stack on top of each other. The 15% additional damage WILL NOT count towards the ally heal.

Q: Breathless Strike- Xuen tosses the ball end of his chain at the enemy instead, bashing them and stunning them for a short time. Restores Energy on hit.

Damage: 15/30/45/60/75 Ratio: 115% Total Attack Damage Type: Physical CC: Stun Stun Duration: 1 Energy Restore: 40 Cooldown: 7 Seconds Cost: 60 Energy Side Notes?: Straightforward. Shouldn't need clarification.

W: Gryphon Sweep- Xuen sweeps an area in front of him, striking all enemies and marking them. Setting off this mark with a basic attack will instantly trigger a moderate slow. Enemies take more damage when hit by the blade then the chain.

Damage: 55/75/95/115/135 Ratio: 60% Bonus Attack Damage Chain Damage: 70/90/110/130/150 Chain Ratio: 60% Total Attack Damage Type: Physical, Mark CC: Slow Slow Amount: 14/18/22/26/30% Sow Duration: 2 Seconds Chain Range: 350 Blade Range: 351-500 Cone: 60 Degrees Cooldown: 8 Seconds Cost: 55 Energy Side Notes?: Not much to say. With all this info, it should be clear.

E: Bound- Xuen hooks his weapon into a target area in the ground, dealing minor physical damage to enemies in the area. He can reactivate this ability again to pull himself double the distance. If he comes into contact with an enemy champion, he does minor physical damage and bounces himself back.

Area Damage: 43/56/69/82/95 Area Ratio: 35% Bonus Attack damage Collision Damage: 64/78/92/106/120 Collision Ratio: 50% Bonus Attack Damage Type: Physical Hook Range: 200 Leap Range: 400 Cooldown: 14 Seconds Cost: 110 Energy Side Notes?: Area Damage is the damage done when the sickle lands in the target area. Collision Damage is the damage done when colliding with an enemy champion. Yes, it is possible to land the sickle inside a wall. Yes, it is possible to jump a wall with this.

R: Cutting Wind- Xuen swings his weapon rapidly in front of him, dealing physical damage and snaring enemy units for the duration.

Damage: 135/150/165 [Damage dealt per .5 Seconds] Ratio: 20% Total Attack Damage [Ratio for each hit] Duration: 1.5 Seconds Type: Physical CC: Snare Snare Duration: 1.5 Seconds Range: 450 Forward, 500 Wide Cooldown: 80 Seconds Cost: N/A Side Notes?: Damage is dealt 3 times. The Damage and Ratio for each is 135/150/165 (+20% Total Attack Damage).

I know this likely isn't balanced at all!! However, this is why I'm posting it; to hopefully get numbers that can be balanced. It was fun thinking up this concept, making Xuen as awesome as I could manage without making him seem too strong. I know I went through a lot of info on his passive to make it seem less broken, including every bit of information and restrictions it would have. I'm just hoping I thought of everything for it. @,@

It seems like this heroes abilities are just a mix mash of others, such as the W being Darius' Q which is the axe swing....

I don't quite see how. The W, while similar in mechanic and damage type, stops there. It sweeps in a cone, not a circle. Does not apply a bleed. It would be like saying Ziggs' ult is a variation of Darius' Q, or Xerath W, because they all have danger zone mechanics as well.

Might I ask what else about him is similar to other champion abilities?

Don't mean to sound rude if I did, I was just explaining the subtle differences. :]
