Sage, Shaman of the Elements
EDITED NOTE: The debuffs applied by abilities have no direct effect on the target, they are simply a gateway to more possible damage by combination. I did this because i feel that this would promote more strategic gameplay, and also it would be a bit op, if each ability had a seperate damage dealing or status altering debuff Thanks for the advice everyone :) Help me get some views! :D
Lore: The world is a very mysterious place, full of beauty and power. From the sky piercing Forrest of Demacia, to the majestic white peaks of Sablestone Mountains. There once was a time when mankind saw the world for it's strength, and respected it, though those times have long passed. Now the Nations are torn by war, and greed.
With many of the nations desperate for advantage of power over the others, they were driven to drastic choices. Demacia, mining through the base of Sablestone, and Nox, ordering the Tombs of the Sharima Dessert to be broken, and looted. None stand and defend these natural treasures of the world, they are helpless. And when the darkest hour of man is upon them, Sage emerges from the earth once more. If joining the League of Legends, and defeating the Nations of the world is what it takes, then so be it. (short version)
Appearance: Long white/brown beard and hair. In almost rags of cloths, very worn and rough attire. strong, but not extremely large in size. Wooden Staff: optional.
Abilities:
Passive: Sage's abilities all use different elements of the world to empower them, this being said, when Sage uses two conflicting elements it has a bonus damage/healing for the second used. For example, Fire, then using Water. Or Earth, then Fire. Or Water, then Earth. Further explanation: Sage uses his Magma Wave on an enemy, now having the fire debuff on them, then uses Maelstrom, removing the fire debuff, and dealing bonus damage, and lengthening the stun by a short period of time.
(Q) Magma Wave: Sage summons a force wave of volcanic magma, dealing 80/100/120/140/180 magic damage to all enemies caught in the range. Applying the Fire debuff to the enemy champions hit. Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/10. AP ratio of +.35 (A bit smaller then Annie's fire cone range) *When used on an enemy with an Earth debuff, Magma Wave applys a Burn, dealing a bonus 15/25/35/50/70 +.40 ap scaling over a period of 4 seconds.
(W) Earthen Withdrawal: Sage focuses his energy onto the enemy target, withdrawing the life force within them, and replenishing his own. Steals 50/75/100/125/150 +.65 ap scaling. and restores 25/50/75/100/125 + .7 scaling. Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 When used on an enemy with the Water debuff, Earthen Withdrawal summons tree roots from the ground below, snaring the target for .5/.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds. (About the same range as Vladmir's drain blood"
(E) Maelstrom: Sage summons a Maelstrom in a circle radius dealing damage to champions inside the circle, dealing 80/100/125/150/180 magic damage each second. Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10, AP ratio of +.4. *When used on an enemy with the Fire debuff, Maelstrom slowing the target for .25/.50/.75/1/1.25 seconds by 5/7/9/11/12% trapping them in the maelstrom longer.
(R) Lightning Jolt: Sage blasts the target with a massive surge of Lighting, dealing 200/300/400 Magic damage to the target, and silencing them for 1.5/2/2.5 seconds. The lightning bounces dealing 50/100/150 damage to all near the original target, and silecing them for 1/4 of the duration.(No ratio for the bounces) Cooldown: 100/90/80 AP ratio of +.35. (slightly larger range then garen's ult) When your enemy has a water debuff, Lightning Jolt with deal a bonus 75/125/175 damage to your target, and Stun the target for .5/.75/1 second.
Though Sage's has a silence, a stun and a snare, he only can use one at a time, and at least 10 seconds from each other. Spreading out his CC nicely.
As you can tell Sage is a very difficult champion to play and master, compared to most other champions, but i am confident that those who invest time into him, and learn his complicity, they will prosper.
I think that Sage would be a Great addition to the League of Legends, and the first to have multiple elements in use.
Give me some construction criticism, and let me know what you think! Help me get some views so it's a possible champion :)
If you have any questions, ideas on how to build him or any comments, just post em :) I'll be checking alot, so i'll keep you updated.
