Aurelion VS Fizz

So. Even though he's new, I feel pretty solid with Aurelion. I'm mastery 5 with him, and so far 23-2 in lane as him mid. My KDA average is +11, and I understand his mechanics quite well....That being said, When I hopped on my plat account for ranked, I hit a wall that I completely forgot about...Fizz. I can't seem to even comprehend how to combat a fizz after he hits level 4. Anybody have any luck with figuring out combat methods to beat him? Also, Lee Sin seems to be huge right now, and he consistently wrecks my day. Which is his role, and my weakness. Not sure what else I can do for him either. + =[zombie-brand-facepalm]

AurelionSol against any close, up personal, all over him champs ( Katarina Akali MasterYi Jax Amumu Fizz Kassadin ) etc are bad news to him unless sol get's summoner 4 + summoner 6 .

Against Fizz , farm from behind tower and hope their enemy jg doesn't catch you. Forgot to mention, fizz can walk thru'minions so if he wants to catch you, he will.

people are much better than I am, but I would never try to fight fizz without your R. then if he jumps to you you can R him back and make a retreat. If he follows you can launch your Q backwards (hopefully faster than his dash comes back up). etc. but eventually you will lose against him

I always knew he was going to be like that, that's the reason I always ban Fizz no matter what. I'd rather fight 2 Zeds

If you know anything about the Anivia vs Fizz matchup you should know its hopeless.

you will never hit your q while he has his e and when he gets on you if fizz ulted you he already did enough dmg to kill you even if you ult him back. you cant burst like him, like an assassin. your just a walking kill to him most of the time.

MR glyphs, abyssal rush, and play safe (I'm sure you now this though).

If you can start fights with your team mid game from his roams or over objectives, that would be to your strength since your AOE stun and damage would eventually surpass his assassin burst.

Abyssal scepter debuff has about 50 more range than your max star range which makes it a very nice item on him so I'd be getting that early if you are against a threatening assassin like fizz, leblanc, akali, kat, or kassadin. I'd start with a item 2033 (I get it every game on Sol) for sustain and bonus harass before backing to grab a item 1057 to combat fizz once he reaches his power spike. Hopefully this will allow you to stay in lane and retaliate against him once he has to run away after using all his spells and failing to burst you down. Heal up with pots while zoning him with stars and you should be in good shape.

Just ban him. Fizz basically gets a free lane whenever he goes mid against mages, and Aurelian especially will just be food for him. And fizz only needs one kill before he can AoE assassinate teams.

The way you beat it is wait till he burns troll pole juke the ult etc. Same as any low mobility mage.
