A Proper Dragonslaying Vayne

Since Vayne is retextured on the PBE, how about we take this opportunity to make her a part of the proper dragon slayer skin line, meaning red. Here's a re-texture I did last year and posted on League Craft called (you guessed it) "A Proper Dragonslayer". I think I did a pretty good job, and while I'm not looking for praise I'm showing you how COOL a red Dragonslayer Vayne would be! Rioters what do you think? Can you please???

maybe it's not red because it looks a lot like Shyvana from a distance

The Red Dragonslayer Vayne does look pretty cool, Id give it a 10/10. But Im not sure if Riot would change Vayne's color because 1. All Dragonslayer skins aren't red (Pantheon) and 2. People paid RP to get the skin. But if I had this Vayne skin and they changed ot Red I'd be ok with it honestly. But Im only 1 person lol.

Am I the only one fine with DS vayne being blue? I honestly think it looks fine. We don't know enough about dragons to say that they only come in warm colors.

The change in color idea could happen if Riot goes through with that idea of color changes for base skins and other skins.

With this, it wouldnt change for those who like how it is now, but for those who want it to be red (or any other color they offer), they could pay a small amount of RP for it.

What if vayne's red-dragon suit enrages dragon so much he actively leaves river to hunt down vayne? that would be an advantage to one team. it would never happen if it was a blue dragon suit :/

First off all, this is a pretty huge change to a skin no one has ever complained about, and is probably one of the most popular, if not the most popular Vayne skin. If this were to be put through, I'm sure there would be many unhappy customers, myself included. I dislike the bright red which is the reason I prefer this and Vindicator over Aristocrat.

Anyways, in defense of the blue color, Dragonslayer Pantheon is actually **BLUE ** and gold with a purple cape. Dragonslayer Braum is primarily red with purple accents. Dragonslayer J4 is mostly red but include blues and yellows.

No Dragon Slayer skin is purely one color like the red Vayne shown and they are all actually a spectrum of colors, so this change would make Dragonslayer Vayne even more different than the rest of the series. She is actually already very similar to Dragonslayer Pantheon in that she is mostly blue with a purple cape. But again, this change would actually make her more different from the rest of the series, it's not the right way to go if you want consistency.

I think there should be some continuity between all of the Dragonslayer skins. Dragonslayer Pantheon and Braum are great skins, and they're thematically alike. Dragonslayer Vayne and JarvanIV are honestly kind of lackluster and don't match each other, let alone the quality of the newer Dragonslayer skins. So if they did anything, they should make the four skins match thematically (Color schemes, horns, dragon heads etc) with the same quality

I think a better alternative would be to create new dragonslayer skins in different colors as well, maybe green or white, so the skin line will feature the different varieties of dragons. So a full dragonslayer team would be kinda prismatic with all different dragon types.

Here's a scenario where i think this would be a terrible idea:

full Dragonslayer team, all in red dragon outfits. Fighting against a Shyvana, oh wait, she is ice drake Shyvana. No way could a team of red dragon slayers kill a blue ice dragon. They must've forgotten that not all dragons are "properly" colored red.

I think everyone claiming red would be more in-theme doesn't understand the theme. Dragonslayer means they slay dragons. Nowhere does this mention what color of dragons.

Did you all forget that Vayne is the Night Hunter, and perhaps might be more inclined to fight a dragon that blends into the darkness of the night better than, say, a BRIGHT RED DRAGON? I see no issues thematically with a blue DS Vayne, as she has the dragon outfit and the potential reasons for it being blue are logical and fit in with her character.

Personally, I think Riot just kinda screwed up the whole idea in general, and let me just give my reasoning. We have Dragonslayer skins. Dragons, stereotypically, are creatures of fire. Fire is usually portrayed with colors ranging from yellow to red. Maybe Riot backed themselves into a corner because they thought it might be wierd to see fiery effects coming from a character colored in anything other than warm tones.

And now that I think of it, maybe the reason DS Vayne is blue is because blue fire exists naturally, and, naturally, is hotter than red flames. Haha, get it? Dragonslayer Vayne is the hottest Dragonslayer? ...I'm sorry, I'll put myself in the corner now.

How about you don't completely change the color of a skin just for shit's sake?

I'm very happy with the way Dragonslayer Vayne looks and I'd be extremely disappointed to see it changed just to fit a skin line she vastly predates

I don't have a problem with the current skin. Killing an azure rathalos is more impressive and the cool colors fit Vayne's personality better
