Why Arclight Vayne?

I've often thought of what I want in a Vayne skin; badass design/clothing, roguelike appearance. The first thought that usually comes to my head when thinking about what I want in a Vayne skin is along the lines of a sci-fi bounty hunter look like Boba Fett or Samus Aran.

So now I ask: why Arclight Vayne? I know it's thematically coherent because Vayne purges evil from people, like Van (Vayne) Helsing.

Okay let me back up. I like this skin. I do, but it's time Vayne got some serious/badass kinda love for skins. Here Riot I'll trade you: 1 Arclight Vayne and 1 Omega Squad Teemo for 1 Omega Squad Vayne and 1 Arclight Teemo, deal? In all seriousness, why hasn't Vayne gotten a cool skin? Like REALLY badass? Dragonslayer is ....it's honestly meh. I really would prefer Dragonslayer to be retextured red/purple like the other dragon slayers or maybe even a green/jade color.

I digress. Can I get a red response on the decision for this skin? It seems so....unfitting to Vayne other than her being a darkness killer. She has heartseeker and SKT1 for "uplifting" skins.

Either way, Riot you inspire me as an artist to keep making art and designing and I will continue to support this game as long as I desire, and I will keep playing this champ, but I know that one day you will hear my pleas and make me a Legendary (hell even 1350 skin) that is worthy of me: Doublelift's Special Cousin.

I have to admit, Arclight Vayne is one of the ugliest looking skins I have ever seen Riot produce. I don't feel like it fits Vayne at all.

I think the reason Vayne doesn't get really awesome skins is because she more or less doesn't do anything but AA.

Even look at Arclight. All she really gets is a different stacking for her W and a different ground effect for her R.

What she needs is an actual overhaul in the skin.

She'd be an amazing addition to the PROJECT line. Instead of a cross bow she'll have a laser pistol. Or a laser crossbow. Pressing Q with R active will leave a very faint after image(faint enough it wont confuse people and make the skin stronger than the base skin). Procing 3 stacks of W gives a cool animation. Instead of basically a spark. R will pull down a cannon form her back. In which she'd fire it from her shoulder. Pressing E, she leans down to fire the cannon quickly without having to actually pull it down. She could even do a little spin in the air.

For her to get a great skin she requires a lot of design and animation changes. She can't get away with just particle changes. I don't think it's possible for them to easily make her a 1350 skin. It'd be easier to just go all out and make a legendary skin. They'd really have to be nit-picky and hold back on things they would want for a 1350 to work. Which IMO sounds like more work.

I kind of agree, the skin isn't all that good. And vayne doesn't fit the arclight theme.

I can think of several other AD carries who could fit the theme better actually. Ashe firing light arrows would be cool, her ult would be a giant beam of light.

Lucian He already fires light beams from his pistols, but they can expand on that concept so well with Lucian.

Kalista This would be an interesting take on a "Reverse Kalista" type skin. She has tons of cool particles to make a skin like this work.

Yeah she doesn't really go well with the Arclight Theme. Varus was okay, Vel'koz was pretty awesome and then this... no. I wish they would make something more battle ready/fearsome for her. Dragonslayer is pretty nice but yeah could use to be updated to flow with the other dragon slayer skins too.

I'm sorry I barely have anything to add to the discussion, but with the newly introduced Chroma Packs, we might get green/red/black Dragon Slayer Vayne, just sayin'. :P
