Turret Upgrades and other stuff! (How to make League more strategic Riot)
a new game mode called Nexus Siege came up , and I saw that there were bunch deployables the attacking team uses and things you could do to turrets. This gave me the idea that maybe in the store you could buy turret upgrades and these deployables with crystal shards that you gain like gold.
you could gain these crystal shards the same way as gold, and use them to buy the turret upgrades (so that you don't have spend gold on buying these things) Only be up to 2 upgrades can be on a turret at a time. if the turret has at least 2 upgrades when its destroyed, the turrets remains will ward the area around itself.
Here's some ideas for the turret upgrades, including those from Nexus Siege:
Turret Upgrades: Crisis Safeguard: If the turret its on starts losing a certain large amount of health per second, or has only 5% health, a powerful shield will pop up. Ally champs get a small temporary shield every couple seconds whenever they enter the turrets range.
Self-Destruct: If the turret is destroyed, it creates a slowing field around itself and then explodes, damaging all units around itself. passively it makes the turret do more damage and attack faster
Healing Hive: The turret will passively spawn a some kind of minion (like as strong as your average siege minions) every few seconds. Ally champions get bonus health regeneration and life steal when in the turrets range.
Beam of Ruination: Attach to a nearby tower giving you control of 3 beam blasts from the tower. This does SERIOUS damage to enemy champions. (has lot less shorter range than the one on Nexus Siege and less damage)
Firestorm Bulwark: An emergency Zhonya style shield for your tower that makes it invulnerable for a few seconds, then WRECKS all enemies that were around it in a rain of missiles. Great for clutch saves on a tower about to go down, buying you precious extra time
Deployables: Siege Ballista: A long ranged siege engine that will hammer away at enemy towers. These are excellent for applying pressure on defending teams who continually turtle and never come out from under their towers.
Vanguard Banner: Gives nearby allied minion significant combat stats for extra pushing power.
