How long has Noxus been at war with them? unless this is in the past... but if not, you'd think that the Demacia, Piltover, and maybe even the Yordles would be intervening in this. I am so confused... [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Demacia wouldn't be touching that with a barge pole. It's just not on their front door. Piltover has reasons to stay neutral.

Why are Shuriman's being employed by Noxians...Why don't Shurimans serve the Shuriman Empire? Azir is back, he can re-create the Shuriman Dynasty.

If that's true, why haven't they released Sion in Ionia yet? I know Riot just made him a new skin, but if they plan on updating noxus' lore next and Scott McNeil isn't busy...

Basically I want to see the choo choo crush some Ionian bones. Any chance of that happening anytime soon you think?

Also, I'd like to know what's happening with Sion right now. Is he caged still, or is he destroying fortresses somewhere?

No Institute of War =/= no League match to determine who wins. It becomes just like a regular war, and given what we know about Noxus, they don't seem the type to surrender.

During World War II, America tried to stay uninvolved with what was happening until Japan bombed Pearl Harbor.

Yes, America partook in it, but it's not because "we should help them" It's because "They did NOT just kick over my sand castle!!!!??"

Demacia would only be involved through virtue of offsetting Noxus, and that's IF they're not busy with their own stuff. I don't believe Ionia has a current alliance with Demacia, so Demacia's immediate involvement to protect an ally does not exist.

The Yordles are yordles. Why would all of Bandle City bother running up to protect Ionia? This is an isolated war between two factions that shouldn't include the intervention of others (even if Ionia would appreciate the help). Having 2-3 other factions involved would make it a World War which, by the look of things, is not the scale Riot is trying to make this out to be.

Hmm. Kind of off topic, but with the new little bit of lore with Yasuo, I got to thinking, who killed the elder? Riven, probably not. She seems to honorable and wasn't in the right place at the right time. So, any other Noxian we might know about? Well, Darius and Sion are out, as neither of them command wind. Swain and his birb couldn't really do it. LB, again, isn't a wind person. I doubt Talon and Katarina where involved in this thin... Wait. Talon and Katarina. Katarina Du Couteau. We know that Katarina's father, General Du Couteau, disappeared. We don't know when. We don't know why. We don't know how. So, what if he went to Ionia and killed the elder. We don't know what Du Couteau can do, other than he is an amazing swordsman and handed Talon his ass. Maybe he knows a wind technique, and so when he was away from Noxus, he assassinated the elder. He has a motive, and he certainly has the skill.

It's lore with new characters being introduced with their own separate yet similar lore. It is very possible that the lore's timeline is not parallel with the League of Legends (the actual lore League of Legends) timeline - it could have taken place a long time ago. Just don't question it - I treat the Runeterra lore as a completely different timeline than in the League of Legends (game) lore because there's not much you can do to make the two timelines parallel. To be completely honest, I think that the League of Legends is the "Hunger Games" of Runeterra.
