Amumu Needs Some Love
, the Sad Mummy is probably one of the best Tank Champions that Riot has for League Legends & for a time Amumu was pretty much the only Tank I would ever play, I still play him every now & then. But I do have to confess somethings that I like to discuss with you guys:
Character Model: So first topic is Amumu's in-game Model...I'm gonna be honest. Amumu & his skins make him look like a bobble-head wearing oversized shoes, this 1st topic is mainly a personal preference. Seriously what is up with his Head & Feet? So Amumu is suppose to be a mummified Yordal Child, I don't really see anything that shows Amumu being a Yordal. So what I suggest for a Model Update are the following: .reduce his Head & Feet so he doesn't see so comical or bobble-headed. .if he is a Yordal let small portions of his ears stick out of the bandages, like just have the tips show. .finally add some small effects to his model that shows off how lonely or just how he emits pure sorrow.
Ability Particle Effects: Next up is the particle effects & textures of Amumu's Abilities, We know that as an older Champion Amumu's Ability particle effects are out-dated but there not that bad. But with the previous Juggernaut Patch I'm surprised that Amumu didn't get his Abilities & Ability Icons a VU Update or something like that.
Amumu's Passive: Cursed Touch. When Amumu Auto-Attacks someone their Magic Resist is suppose to be decreased. I wish we get like an icon or mark to show you that your target is affected by this Passive.
Amumu's Q-Ability: Bandages Toss. Theres not much I can say about this Ability, exceapt maybe make it look like Amumu is throwing out bandages & the bandages look like their dusty or something.
Amumu's W-Ability: Despair. Okay now I got something to talk about. So right now this Ability just looks like Amumu is standing in a puddle, and that's it. If this was going to get a VU Update make it so like when you do activate this Ability it will show a pool of sorrow expanding from Amumu, also the puddle is to lightly colored for an Ability being called despair so I would say make the pool more darker like maybe grey with a dash of dark navy blue to really show a nice dark feel. Also no tear effects, the effects where tears are coming out of Amumu's eyes like a sprinkler make them more like the tears are actually dripping down his body to make that puddle.
Amumu's E-Ability: Tantrum. Amumu breaks dances in place while throwing out colorful "claw" scratch marks & having bandages drift around him afterwords. If this got a VU Update have Amumu erupt with necrotic energy while he flails his arms, while bandages fly out in all directions then get wraps around Amumu's body again.
Amumu's R-Ability: Curse of the Sad Mummy. Amumu spins in place like a top while this large ring gets stamped on the map & enemies inside the ring get wrapped in bandages while having blood or something spurt out of them. If & when this gets a VU Update I think Amumu should do what he did in his little Music Video have the bandages erupt from him (like what I suggested for his Tantrum) but in a spiraling motion while the ring is actually being made, enemies that do get hit by this Ability will actually & visually be wrapped in bandages while the bandages emit a strange energy light from the effects of the ring.
Interactions with the Player/Monsters/Items/Champions: The final topic is giving Amumu more personality, give him more lines to speak in his Taunts & Jokes when the Player wants to here them while Amumu does an action, instead of just standing still & saying the same line over & over. For his Re-Call when he does get a VU Update i was thinking that when he B's to base it shows Amumu going over to pet a an animal or something but the animal runs away in fear, then Amumu flops the ground & begins to cry. I think this would suit some called the Sad Mummy. I would also like to here interesting Taunts & Jokes Amumu could say to specific Champions or vise versa having Champions saying something to Amumu.
