Zaub: The Hextech Experiment

Lore: Zaub is the first of his kind. Grown in a military facility as an artificial biological weapon. With the mysterious power to effect hextech technology. Zaub shares many characteristics to that of a somewhat prehistoric yordle. He has dark blue fur outside his skin. He also has big dark blue ears protruding from the top of his head. With light blue inside these ears. The ears are swept back, due to their immense size. He has standard arms and legs. His hands have 3 fingers and a thumb. His feet are round with 3 stubs for toes. His stomach has a patch of orange fur, that goes from his stomach to his hip. With green fur outlining sides of the orange fur. His Hextech G-MkII looks like a rifle of sorts. Looking black with a pattern of green, that goes towards a glowing light blue line. That originates from a large blue circle at the back of the gun, which holds the weapons hextech crystal. This circle sends a stream of magic energy from the crystal to the barrel of the gun. (If possible, can anyone help me draw out how he looks? I am not a good artist myself.)

Little by little, Zaub noticed more and more creatures like him were being developed. Watching, and learning. He started to realize what he was. Zaub tried to speak with his creators to try and answer his questions. Sadly for Zaub, He did not know how. So he mimicked sounds and actions his creators used to try and speak. Sadly though, all that came out to the scientists were very ill placed words. With a few profound actions. So Zaub devised a plan, he used his hextech ability to relieve himself from his cage, and slowly did the same for his fellow brethren. When he escaped with his fellow biological weapons, he stole another weapon from the facility, a prototype called the Hextech G-MKII. Which Zaub had seen that it has some, explosive effects. Now, with Zaub leading his kind to the new world, hextech weapon in hand, he was ready to brave the unknown. He kept his kind hidden in the undergrounds of Zaun. Hiding is fairly easy there. For his kind can effect the augmented thugs to not even see them. Though the rare occasions they are seen, they usually make friends. Such as Zac, and Ekko. Zac wanting to help these curious confused creatures learn, like he once did. With ekko wanting to learn more about Zaub. During these times with ekko and zac, he came across a question from a paper he had seen. A paper speaking of the League of Legends. Lucky for Zaub, zac and ekko were both in the league. They proceeded to tell him stories of strong warriors, intelligent beings, legendary assassins, etc. This enticed Zaub so much, that he wanted to join it himself. With ekko and zac showing him the way, he set off to the league of legends. Leaving his kind behind; with promises of him returning with stories of wonder.

Zaub is friends with Zac , Ekko ,Gnar , and Velkoz . Zaub hates Viktor .

Role: Marksman Secondary: Mage

AA range: 550 units

Zaub's passive is Hextech G-MKII.

  1. All AD gets transferred to ap.
  2. His auto attacks are also 100% magic and scale with all of his ap.
  3. His magic damage can crit.
  4. The crit damage scales off his level, starting from 30% then ending at 50%. (Because ap is usually higher, his magical crit has to take a hit. Infinity edge can be used to give him a normal strength magic crit though. )

Q is called Ricochet Shot. Zaub augments his Hextech weapon's property to rebound kinetic energy.

  1. It is a Plasma projectile that can Ricochet off terrain **once. **
  2. its range would be around 700 units.
  3. When it is ricochet, it resets the range and lands as a crit. This crit does 50%-80% crit damage, based by level. (IE increases this)
  4. If this is used to last hit a minion, champion, or monster; however, it will Penetrate through them. Allowing another damage proc, this effect can work a total of 5 times.
  5. Only champions and large monsters can be crit by it.
  6. It's AP scaling would be 85% and the base damage will be 10-50 based by level
  7. It's cool-down will be 8-5 seconds based off level. (At max CDR and max Lvl It will be 3 seconds.) (So Either be advanced and get that crit, or use it as an aa reset/skill-shot. It also has decent wave-clear)

Zaub’s W is called Living weapon. Zaub's organic tissue effects the hextech weapon, enhancing its rate of fire and fire power.

  1. This skill resets after every kill *but in order to use it, you have to do it manually unlike master yi ult
  2. It enhances your auto's by 10% of Ap at all levels. remains same
  3. it enhances attack speed from 10-40% based on level
  4. It's duration lasts 4 seconds
  5. Normal cool-down without resetting it, is 20-15 seconds without cdr

E is called Plasma Disperse. Zaub alter's the Plasma's properties in his gun to explode on impact, he uses it on the ground.

  1. The range is 650 units.
  2. When it contacts the ground, the plasma explodes, releasing a blue shockwave about the size of twitches W, that slows for 35% and damages targets for 75% AP. The base damage will be 25-65 based on level.
  3. When fired too close to Zaub however, the shock-wave pushes him to it's outer limit. This can be used to traverse terrain. Cool-down: 16-12 seconds

R is named Killer Instinct. Zaub gets consumed by his biological instincts, becoming bright orange as his belly becomes bright red.

  1. This ult increases his movement speed, and adds 20-40% crit on activation, based on level
  2. It resets the **duration **every kill (like master yi's ult)
  3. The duration lasts 4 seconds, the same as his W
  4. The cool-down is 110-90 seconds, based on level

The main items you would get on him, is item 3146 , item 3115 , item 3031 , item 3508 , and item 3006 . The last one is up to the player. like get item 3089 and get a huge damage boost. which most will, or go item 3124 and get a huge damage boost and attack speed, or go item 3116 if your behind and still want to help your team.

P.S. I thought of Zaub as an option for adc's since so many people are liking ad champs lately. There has to be an ap champ that feels ad; but isn’t. So players aren't limited to JUST Corki.

I might need to add more to his crit. Due to his standard gunblade build without rabadons using rage blade would only be 525 ap.
