Hey there! This is a page dedicated to a champion I spent some time developing, and thought might work well in the League. Ladies, gentlemen, Voidborn, Yordles or whatever else you are, allow me to present Sveik, the Betrayed.

I know we already have several betrayal-based champions such as Kalista and Varus, but I simply couldn't help myself; I just had to work on this, and here it is. Leave a comment and tell me what you think! This page will (likely) be updated numerous times with additional information and maybe, just MAYBE, concept art (I don't exactly have the artistic skill to pull this off yet. So for now, I'm using the model of William from the now-ended TV series, Code Lyoko.)

EDIT: This is likely the finished version. I will still return occasionally to check on this page, and fix anything tat might need to be fixed. Just putting that out there...

Gameplay:

Passive: Betrayed Soul Each time Sveik kills an enemy Champion, he gains +1 Attack Damage permanently. Once his team reaches a total of 30 deaths, this passive escalates to +2 Attack Damage. Q: Silver Slash Sveik slashes his sword upwards vertically in front of him, dealing 30/40/45/60/75 +(25% of total Attack Damage) as Physical Damage to all enemies hit. Cooldown: 12/10/7/7/5 seconds.

W: No Redemption Passive: Sveik gains % Attack Speed equal to the number of enemy Champions within an 800 Unit radius around him x5. Active: Sveik jumps to an enemy, dealing 75% of his total Attack Damage as Physical Damage and restoring health equal to 10% of the damage done. Cooldown: 15/12/10/7/7 seconds.

E: Revenge’s Reach Sveik charges his blade with energy, increasing its damage by 10/15/25/40/60 +(10% of total Attack Damage) for his next 3 basic attacks and causing the attacks to echo out in front of him. Cooldown: 15/13/11/9/7 seconds.

R: Blade of Betrayal Sveik loses 35% of his Armour and Magic Resistance for 5 seconds to charge for 1 second and launch a massive blade of energy anywhere across the map (Global Ultimate), dealing 150/250/350 +(10% of total Attack Damage) +(10% of total Ability Power) as Mixed Damage to any enemy Champions hit. Each time it hits an enemy Champion, the blade gains +5% damage. Cooldown: 130/100/85 seconds.

Lore:

Sveik is an ancient being, a culmination of long-fogotten spirits, each betrayed by their closest and most trusted, doomed to carry their curse on to the next life. Now free to exact boundless revenge on the descendants of his betrayers, Sveik hunts without mercy-- leaving his victims in the form of a mangled heap of burned and sliced corpse.

Long before the dawn of the Rune Wars, many small towns dotted the Runeterran landscape. One such town was home to a man named Sveik, a simple farmer who lived happily with his family. One day, while out hunting, he encountered a beast more ferocious than he had ever encountered. Though he was left badly injured, he successfully slayed the beast. But the worst was yet to come. The beast was a Voidborn, summoned from its dark realm by a powerful witch using a spell that required many resources. When the witch found out that her precious killing machine was dead, she laid a powerful curse on Sveik; he was doomed to be fatally betrayed by his closest and most trusted allies, friends and family and be reincarnated, only to suffer the same fate for all eternity. For millennia, Sveik's reincarnations were slain by their closest, dearest companions, only to return to the world of the living in another form. What the witch hadn't counted on, however, was the curse gaining its own conciousness...

At the reincarnation's one hundred thousandth betrayal, the curse was shattered, giving birth to Sveik, an impersonation of the curse itself. Taking the name of the original Sveik and stealing the body of the reincarnation, Sveik killed the one hundred thousandth betrayer, ending the curse once and for all. Now free to wreak havoc on his betrayers' descendants, Sveik set out on his grim journey, growing more powerful with every being he killed and preparing himself for the day that he will no longer need a body to do his bidding-- he will become immortal, free to slay all he wishes.

It is for this reason that the Institute of War arrested him, forcing him to fight in the League of Legends. But Sveik knows that one day soon, he shall break the shackles that bind him to the League and exact his ultimate revenge against his captors...

Recommended Items:

Start: -Doran’s Bladeitem 1055 -Health Potion x1item 2003

Early: -B.F. Sworditem 1038 -Boots of Speeditem 1001

Essential: -The Black Cleaveritem 3071 -Blade of the Ruined Kingitem 3153 -Ninja Tabi + Furor Enchantment (recommended)item 3047

Defensive: -Titanic Hydraitem 3748 -Randuin’s Omenitem 3143 -Righteous Gloryitem 3800

Notable Points:

-Sveik does NOT use mana, nor energy, rage, fury or other. His bar is empty, like Katarina's. -Sveik sees KalistaKalista as a fake, in a way, as he believes revenge has no price (she claims her clients' soul as compensation) -Sveik has a sort of double attitude, in that he partly talks normally, and partly without using conjunctions. This is due to his "corruption" of sorts. -Sveik sees VarusVarus as his ranged counterpart. -He believes Yasuo is innocent, that he betrayed his school for an honourable purpose. As such, he has nothing against him.

Sveik is my first champion concept, and I have a few more in the works. Comment below with your opinions! Constructive criticism is MORE than appreciated!

****LET ME MENTION THAT THIS ENTIRE TOPIC IS IN BETA! THIS IS FAR FROM ANYTHING APPROACHING A FINISHED VERSION!

Your entire kit is overpowered as hell. With the innate sustain, the random stats your passive gives, the strong slow tied to free harass, and a global ultimate that nukes harder the more people hit, your champion will literally be capable of destroying anybody without much effort. Think (using your example) of Katarina, but even more mindblowingly easy.

And on a more personal opinion, the backstory behind this (moderately bland) character is like a Dark Ike of sorts. I fight for my friends but my friends betrayed me so I can now use magic made out of feelings and hate.

I get that not everybody can write whole novels with world-building and elaborate details and such, but your champion concept as a whole is just completely boring, overdone, and another prime example of the quality the Concept board holds.
