[Champion Concept] Miyuki, the Freljord's Soul
Heya all! So... I've been off a while tinkering with some ideas and HERE WE GO! Once more, I had no concrete image to go on, so for clothes, check the picture above, For the blade, Kaatyo, check the link below marked "Kaatyo" (duh!).Ladies, Gentlemen, Yordles, Voidborn, Aspects, Undead, giant, star-building space Dragons, allow me to present to you Miyuki, the Freljord's Soul.

Passive: Freeze-Forged Miyuki's dagger, Kaatyo, emits an aura of freezing energy around Miyuki at all times. If Miyuki takes damage, the attacker suffers 1% of the damage done and is slowed by 1% for 0.5 seconds. This slow percentage increases by 0.5% for every kill Miyuki obtains, and by 0.25 for every assist she obtains. The damage done by this passive increases to 3% when Miyuki falls below 50% of her total health.
Q: Ice Blade Miyuki flings her knife at a target, dealing 25/30/45/55/70 + (30% total Ability Power) and creating a field that follows the target around for 5 seconds that increases ally movement speed by 5%. Also applies Freeze-Forged when possible.
Mana cost: 50/55/60/65/70 Mana. Cooldown: 9/8.5/7.5/6/5 seconds.
W: Winter Winds Passive: Miyuki gains +5% movement speed for every ally Champion within 1000 units of her. If Miyuki drops below 30% of her total health, she automatically flings all enemy Champions within 1000 units of her 500 units away from her.
Active: Miyuki flings all enemy Champions within 200 units of her 500 units away.
NO MANA COST WHEN ACTIVATED AUTOMATICALLY Mana Cost for MANUAL ACTIVATION: 15/13/12/10/8.5 seconds. Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/7.5 seconds.
E: Slicing Arc Miyuki dashes forwards in an arc, dealing 15/25/35/55/80 +(50% of total AP) to all targets hit, and dealing an additional 10% of total AP to all slowed enemies she hits.
Mana cost: 50/55/65/75/85 Mana. Cooldown: 12/11/10/8.5/7.5 seconds.
R: Path of Northern Ice Miyuki selects one of the 3 lanes (top, mid, bot) and channels for 3 seconds before freezing it solid (from Inhibitor Turret to Inhibitor Turret). Enemy Champions on the ice are revealed and Miyuki gains +10% movement speed while on it. In addition, Miyuki takes 5% less damage on the ice and her Q (Ice Blade) blasts nearby enemies with a slow field of 10% for 1.5 seconds and 50% of the initial damage done by the blade. If Miyuki hits 3 or more enemy Champions with her blade + blade AoE, the cooldown of Ice Blade is reduced by 50%. Path of Northern Ice lasts 7 seconds, and remains active even if Miyuki dies during this time.
Mana cost: 100/100/120 Mana. Cooldown: 130/120/100 seconds.
Lore
Miyuki is a warrior of ice, rushing past enemies with the grace of a bird in flight and the precision of a master archer. A denizen of the Freljord, Miyuki’s fierce determination is matched only by her astounding skill at wielding her magic True Ice dagger, Kaatyo. Once a simple farmer girl living with her family in the Avarosan Valley, Miyuki’s life changed forever when her village was attacked by Sejuani’s clan, the Winter’s Claw. Rushing for cover, Miyuki’s parents brought her to a secret chamber beneath their house, where she was given a small silver box embedded with exquisite turquoise crystals. Before she could open it, however, enemy troops barged in and slaughtered her parents. If not for her natural agility, honed through years of working in the mountains and forests, Miyuki would have met the same fate. Leaving her village, Miyuki sought protection from Ashe, leader of the Avarosan clan. She explained the situation to her, and was granted indefinite asylum in Ashe’s fortress. Eventually, however, reality struck Miyuki that she would never see her parents again, nor would she ever enjoy the warmth and shelter she felt in her home and with her family. Wiping the tears from her face, Miyuki turned her attention to the small ornate box she had been trusted with. Inside, she found a beautiful dagger of solid True Ice, its hilt wrapped in Frost Drake hide. As she grabbed the hilt, she noticed her hand turn to living ice, her skin crystalizing as the knife spoke in her mind: “I am Kaatyo. There is much to be done”. Leaving the fortress, Miyuki trained for months with the dagger. But the more she trained, the more she realized the blade took hold of her mind, speaking words of unity and balance for the Freljord, and as it did, she felt her own will slipping from her grasp. She realized that if she was to resist being consumed by Kaatyo, she would need to earn its trust and use it for a noble cause. It was at that moment that Miyuki found herself before the doors of the Institute of War, her purpose as sharp and solid as her blade.

Insight
Miyuki is a midlane/support control mage who specializes in protecting her allies and zoning her enemies. Her abilities are oriented around the idea of a hit-and-run strategy, dealing a notable amount of damage with a minimal amount of backlash/consequences. Her passive is Freeze Forged, which slows enemies on-hit based on the number of stacks she has acquired. Midlane Miyukis can use the passive as a way to engage the enemy, or slow their combos, while support Miyukis can use their Q to proc the passive and gain their stacks from afar. Miyuki’s Q is Ice Blade, a point-and-click ability best used for either zoning an enemy, or marking them as a good target for your allies. The speed-field of the ability allows allies to follow up, while the passive link to Freeze-Forged allows Miyuki to gain bonus stacks on her passive while remaining at a safe distance. Her W is Winter Winds. The ability’s auto-cast feature allows Miyuki to safely protect her laner or herself from ganks, while the manual cast can be used for zoning enemies or keeping them exactly where you want them. Take note that the ability has various different CC effects depending on who/what the knocked back enemies hit, and that using these different effects can change the tide of a battle, from slowing small groups of enemies, to singling out vulnerable targets. Lastly, Miyuki’s ultimate ability R is Path of Northern Ice, which freezes an entire lane from each side’s respective Inhibitor Turrets. This ability is best used for setting up teamfights or helping allies to escape a danger zone. Note, however, that enemies in either of the two base areas will be completely unaffected, so use the ability only when you know the time is right. The high cooldown will punish you otherwise…
