(Suggestion) Walk Down Memory Lane Featured Game Mode

So I was thinking about an idea for a game mode, where a match is randomly set to a certain patch from beta to the current patch. For example, when all 10 players start a match in this game mode, the system then randomly picks patch 4.20. This means that the game for that match is set in patch 4.20. This means that every item, champion, and changes that were added to the rift after patch 4.20 are now gone. This also means that champions, items, and changes that existed in the rift before and during patch 4.20 are now in that match.

This game mode would be like "walking down memory lane," where players would be able to play the game during a specific patch in the past. This means that players can be able to experience the Cinder hulk Meta, the Reign of Feral Flare, the 97% banrate Kassadin, the time before the rift was updated, release Xin, 10 minute Teemo Shrooms, old baron nashor and dragon, the teleport+revive combo, pre rework Gangplank Sion Poppy, 6 sunfires build, and much more that would take long to list.

I would like to be able to play a game of Season 3 in Season 6.

The problem with this sort of idea is that those patches probably no longer exist on the Riot server (and may not even exist in a code database somewhere). That's a lot of additional content to store: we're talking about adding the current game size to the servers FOR EACH ADDITIONAL VERSION YOU ADD. That's...impossibly huge. :P
