I've created Gargantua as a tank with heavy displacement abilities and a great team fight initiation.

Gargantua, The Great Maw.

I've had him rattle in my head for quite a bit and while there are definitely some great initiators already like Alistair and Malphite I feel there needs to be more. His background is linked to Aurelian Sol. He has sworn revenge on Aurelian Sol after the Targons targeted him for destruction since he ate one of their planets. After an unsuccessful attack by Aurelian he searches the heavens for his chance of revenge.

Base Stats:

Health: 610 – 2320 (+95 per level) Health Regen: 9 – 26.1 (+0.95 per level) Mana: 0 instead has Mass. Attack Damage: 60 – 150 (+5 per level) Attack Speed: 0.665 – 0.969 (+2.65% per level) Armor: 29 – 99.2 (+3.9 per level) Magic Resist: 30 – 52.5 (+1.25 per level) Movement Speed: 335 AA Range: 150 (Melee)

Primary Roles: >Bruiser/Tank

Skills:

Passive: Singularity Gargantua gains mass stacks for each minion, nuetral and epic monsters killed. Kills and assists on champoins also grant mass stacks. 2 from melee minion. 1 from caster minions. 3 from cannon minions. 1 from small neutrals 2 from big neutrals. 10 from Epic monsters. 20/10 per champ kill/assist. Max 100 Mass.

Lose 30% of current mass on death.

Gargantua attacks applies Gravity stacks. At 50/100 Mass enemy units gain 1/2 Gravity stack per second within 500 units of Gargantua. Max 6 Gravity stacks.

(Visual would be increased champion size.)

Q – Gravity well.

Channel: Can cast while moving. In a growing radius around Gargantua all enemies are dealt damage and pulled to the center at the end of the channel. Also gain a shield based on mass.

Damage: 100/125/150/175/200 (+0.4 AP)(+5/10/15/20/25 per Gravity stack) Magic Damage Mass: increase damage and range to 125% at 50 mass and to 150% at 100 Mass. Range Increase: Starts at 100 units wide and 300 max. Shield: 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 per mass (+10% max health) Cooldown: 18/14/10/8/6 seconds

W – Gravitic Anomaly

Cost: 30 mass

Active: Gargantua slows and reduces attack speed in a 200 unit radius lasting 3 seconds and gains movement speed equal to 1/4 of the amount slowed decaying over 3 seconds.

Slow and Attack Speed Reduction: 40% over 3 seconds at all ranks. Mass: Increase Range by 50/100 at 50/100 mass. Increase slow by 5/10/15/20/25% per Gravity stack. Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8 seconds

E – Space Rupture.

Cost 20 Mass and 1 Rupture stack.

Passive: Gain 1 Rupture stack every 45/40/35/30/25 seconds. Max 2 stacks.

Active: Channel for 1.5 seconds taking any damage increases time to 2.5 seconds. Gargantua's rips a hole in reality and creates a wormhole to target location lasting 45 seconds. Gargantua emerges at the other end with a shockwave dealing damage and slowing enemies for 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds. Damaging champions with Gravity stacks instead stuns for .5 seconds per Gravity stack. Wormholes can be used both ways by Gargantua and his allies after a 2 second cooldown.

Damage: 50/75/100/125/150 (+0.4 ap) (+5% bonus health) Slow 40% at all ranks. Damage range 200 unit radius. Target Range: 700/800/900/1000/1100 units. Mass: Increase Damage by 50% at 50 mass and 75% at 100 Mass. Damage calculated before mass cost. Cooldown: 30/25/20/15/10 seconds.

R – Heaven's Gate

Cost 10% current health.

Active: Gargantua stops moving and turns into a black hole for 5 seconds. Units within 500 units with gravity stacks are pulled toward the center, suppressed for .5 seconds for every Gravity stack. and are dealt damage. Champions take additional damage per gravity stack. Gargantua heals for 20% of his max health per champion killed and 5% per other unit killed by Heaven's Gate.

Damage: 50/100/150(+0.5 ap)(+5% max health)(+10/15/20 per Gravity stack) per second. Damage is only dealt while in the black hole. Size: 100 units wide Mass: Increased size and damage by 25% at 50 and 50% at 100 Mass. Units with 4 or more gravity stacks are dealt 1% increased damage per 1% missing health. Cooldown: 200/160/120 seconds

Discussion:

Overview of Kit: Gargantua's kit revolves around punishing your opponent for overextending and diving deep. Gargantua has no reliable poke so every fight has to be deliberate and well thought out.

Passive: Mass Pros:

Stacks extra damage empowers other abilities More stacks more damage

Cons:

must be close to apply stacks

Appearance: Engulfing darkness.

Conclusion: Please let me know what you think in the thread.

Edit 1: Removed Hunger added Mass. W remade. Ult enhanced for changes.

Edit 2: Some lingering Hunger and time limit to root in ult.

Added a more of a black hole vibe to passive.

U mean, at 100% mass, this dude has the same attack range as Caitlyn (150+10(50)=650)? Interesting 😈
